Featured Replies

Does anyone know the current requirements regarding Covid 19 vaccine proof or other when travelling by air from Bangkok to Udon thani, both for Thai residents and foreigners? Thanks in advance.

None

Really there is nothing more to write.

Since months no more Covid 19 related measures for domestic travel.

Been flying three times from Bangkok to Khon Kaen this year.

Nothing.

OK, mask wearing in airport and on board.

We just recently flew Buriram -> Bangkok and just last week Bangkok -> Buriram!

The only things changed is that there is NO food service on board and you have to wear a mask ALL the time!

Last week or so I read that on board service will be allowed again.

Serving food and drinks allowed again effective July 14.

Nice. Thanks. I have heard that different airports have different rules so I am wondering if anyone has first hand experience at Udon Thani airport?

We flew 20 July from DMK -> BFV and all the ordered food by passengers was put in the overhead compartment and it was not allowed to be eaten on board.

A couple sitting behind us was complaining about it.

As others have said no real problem.

I flew to Khon Kaen on 13th March and then a return trip to BKK from KKC in the middle of May both with Thai Smile. Masks were needed and probably still are. There was no food, tea or coffee but they did give you the food when you left.

I can't see anything on their website so I would imagine it's just masks that are needed.

As far as thai smile goes everything back to normal with food and drink service to UTH. Masks are still the norm.

Thanks for the warning. Just confirms to stay with ThaiSmile for me.

And don't be fooled by lower "starting at" prices by other LCC.

Plus being able to fly from Suvarnabhumi is a massive plus for me.
