Does anyone know what the old rivermarket  next to the iron bridge is going to be? A lot of work going on there.

I don’t know my wife told me it was there as we passed by.

A nice little sidewalk along there would be nice...   unpleasant walking along there at present getting splashed by cars close by when it is raining.

There used to be a Dukes to the north of Panthip on Chang Klan Road near the junction of Loi Kroh Road but looking at Google maybe gone now as it doesn't show on map.

If memory serves right, it closed down X#of years ago. The newest one is on 500 yr. Rd close  to Ruamchok intersection.

There was one other side of the road, but I don't think it was opposite. I ate there a few times. Near the Loi Kroh Rd intersection.

Old Rivermarket now called "Chefs Together" by Aod and Dao..Passed it on Friday night walking over the bridge.All lights on with a band playing and some customers eating.Looks like more work to be carried out.Also ex BusBar next doo ...now Cafe Wander appears to be doing quite well..

What's with not knowing common Thai nick names?  Do you live in Thailand?

Not that it matters but think the names are Aod & Dan.

The chefs who are opening the new restaurant may be Chef Dan of Sipolle and Chef Aod of Al Dente (which opened where Sipolle once used to be before it moved). If so, it will be well worth going to for Italian food

Wynken, Blynken, and Nod would be the obvious inspiration for those names.

As previously pointed out, Dan and Aod are normal Thai nicknames---Aod is quite common---not some made up names like Wynken, Blynken and Nod
