Charles have an impossibly task in front of him!

William should have been the next King.

Queen of world Rest in peace

One report mentioned:

- Charles will be crowned quickly as the next king.

- William has officially accepted several serious duties, which he will control, and he willl generally  work alongside his father.

No mention, in this thread, of condolences from Thailand?

Anybody noticed any condolences in other Thai media?

Nothing other than the mention of the Thai flag being lowered to half mast. and this part:

He said that a government representative will be sent to sign the book of condolence at the British Embassy in Bangkok.

It really doesn't matter , its not  competition .

No one is required to do anything

I remember many of my Thai friends offering me condolences when Diana died, even strangers did. I'm sure it will be similar for the Queen.

Does William become the Prince of Wales?

Although he is heir to the throne, Prince William will not automatically become Prince of Wales - that will have to be conferred on him by his father. He has inherited his father's title of Duke of Cornwall - William and Kate are now titled Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and Cambridge.

I think he may, but it’s not automatically the case.

Yes indeed, Prince William (currently the Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Cornwall on Charles becoming King) should become the Prince of Wales, being the eldest son of King Charles, but the final decision is with the King.

Before he passed away, Prince Philip asked Charles to confer the title of Duke of Edinburgh on Prince Edward (currently the Duke of Wessex and the King's youngest brother) on the death of their mother, Queen Elizabeth. This is another decision yet to be made by the King.

Prince Edward is the Earl of Wessex.

Prince Andrew is getting nuffin. He’s Duke of York, but because of his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, he may have to give up the Dukedom. He has already lost the Freedom of the City of York

Yes indeed and thank you for pointing out my glaring mistake. I have corrected it in my OP
