Popular Post webfact Posted September 23, 2022 Popular Post Posted September 23, 2022 Daily News Thai Caption: Foul mouthed rant "live" Daily News reported that there was a huge amount of online chatter and comment after a female employee of a bank went "live" on Twitter as she was looking at documents and counting money. She was having difficulty as the notes were all stuck together then found that the pile of notes had been stapled together. What followed was a foul mouthed rant against a customer for doing that - Daily News took out all the bad language with several "xxx". Colleagues didn't castigate her just agreed that it was hard to see the staples. KBank Live responded (that's Kasikorn, one of Thailand's most famous banks). They said they had spoken to the staffer about her inappropriate behaviour and advised on her future conduct. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2022-09-23 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. Mac Mickmanus Posted September 23, 2022 Posted September 23, 2022 A sterile zombie like World we live in, where a person getting annoyed is headline news . Yes, sometimes people get angry and annoyed , its a human emotion which cannot always be supressed 1 1

It's a still from the video that caused the problem. The face of the woman has been obscured, but you can see the money and get a general idea of what the video that they are talking about in the article looks like.

Well it shows that she got so angry she pixilated. A bit like spontaneous human combustion but more modern. Think the Hulk and you will be in the ball park. 1 4

bendejo Posted September 23, 2022 Posted September 23, 2022 What bothers is me is the notes that are stuck together without use of fasteners.

Agreed. I regularly collected the payroll for our Mooban employees from this bank. I did this monthly for more than five years. Each time I was treated as a terrorist with objections about the colour of pen used to sign the cheques. 2
KannikaP Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 Why was somebody videoing her simply counting money? Or did she discover the notes were stapled, and called a colleague to come video her for Twitter.

Like many, her mind has been twisted by social media and she thought she could post whatever she wants. The only thing that matters to these types are the likes. Then reality came in and set her straight. 1
djayz Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 It never ceases to amaze (baffle?) me the things some people record and then share. There is so much meaningless drivel on so many of these social networking sites. Ridiculous! 1

Actually, this is the main point of her Thai critics: how can a bank employee at work "like sot" ไลค์สด (life streaming on social media)? The foul language is not the main point. This is completely lost in the article of AN 1

Thai logic in full flow. 'Here's a photo but the law says we can't show you what it is'. But they did this long before the recent new law, for decades, so it actually has nothing to do with that. 1

mahtin Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Would have shared my experience at K Bank on Friday, but find myself unable without becoming foul-mouthed. Suffice it to say that after a 20 minute drive to the branch they would not change my mobile phone number because I only had my bankcard and passport with me. That procedure apparently requires the passbook. Lost the old SIM card, forgot the old number. Not possible online. See below. 1
Daffy D Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Understandable really, need the passbook to confirm which account you want to change details on. Went just the other day to my bank to update new passport and change contact phone number. Tried later to make some transfers on line but wouldn't work. After long time on phone to Customer Service, by trial and error, discovered they had updated the Passport but not the new phone number. Guess 50% success is not to bad

Stargeezr Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Err would any of you posters be any different if you were a teller and some jerk stapled money together? Just wondering? I give all tellers a good thumbs up for their patience. I have seen many unruly people over the years and some were customers at stores, banks and other businesses. Most of the time the staff have way more patience than most posters on this forum. Just saying Harvey M.
