"They're trying to kill me" - man attacks girlfriend with scissors then holds her hostage in lavatory

Thai Rath had dramatic still pictures of police behind a bullet proof shield going into a house in Sattahip on Thailand's eastern seaboard where a man had taken his girlfriend hostage in a lavatory.

 

They managed to rescue a woman.

 

Earlier Somwang Sang Udom, 33 had arrived at the house shouting: "They're trying to kill me".

 

He then attacked his girlfriend Rungthiwa, 30, with some scissors leaving a pool of blood outside.

 

He then took her hostage at knifepoint.

 

Police spent 30 minutes trying to talk him into surrender but eventually used the bullet proof shield to charge into the locked lavatory and make an arrest.

 

A nine cm kitchen knife was on the floor. 

 

Rungthiwa had five wounds to her neck, chest and ribs and was taken to hospital.

As the suspect was being led away the younger brother of the female victim aimed foul language in his direction and tried to attack him.

 

Krisadee, the victim's mother said that her daughter had known him for four months and he had been pestering her at the house.

She ran for cover fearing attack herself. 

 

Police are preparing assault and possible charges of illegal detention against the suspect.

 

Drug tests have been ordered.

Our village had one a few years ago. Serial thief and scared alot of people when out of his head on yabaa.

Then one day he disappeared and a policeman turned up at his mum's house and told her she'd never be seeing him again.

It's mostly: elderly, children, and degenerates.

 

There are a few upstanding citizens of working age, but most have left to go to places with opportunities.

 

Plenty of gang violence. Someone gets beat to death once or twice a year at some big party.

 

No shortage of drug addicts, alcoholics, drunk driving, illegal guns, theft, robbery, dog poisoning, property damage, illegal tree cutting, teenage daughter pimping, wife beating, child abuse, child neglect, animal abuse, animal neglect, illegal gambling, loan sharking, extortion, violence, suicide etc etc 

 

I saw it all, Buddy, in the relatively short span of about 8-9 years and not from a barstool!

Couple of guys I used to work with back in Oz had loads of tatts that couldnt be seen when in a short sleeved business shirt and tie.....guess they were Thai gang members too.
