OVER 50 Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) policemen in southern Trang province are hunting for one of their men after he shot dead a customer and injured two others during a pub fight in the wee hours of this morning (Oct. 25), Matichon newspaper said.

 

At 1.13 a.m. Pol. Sgt. Maj. Chutiphon Nakkaew, or Sergeant Bird, head of the defence and suppression unit at Ban Nong Aueang police station in Palian district and assistant to the provincial SWAT unit, was very drunk when he kicked a chair that hit a customer, identified at Mr. Chitkorn Kongchan, or Khao, 32, at a nearby table. 

 

The angry customer got up and pushed the SWAT officer who then fired 10 shots at him with his 9mm pistol, killing him on the spot.

Again it's the police in Thailand who are the criminals.

So, he's taken a rifle and bullet proof vest.  He's ready for a showdown with his fellow officers.  Or maybe he's going to go on a murderous shooting spree somewhere.  Great.  Another nutcase.

Well trained. What well trained, anyone, let alone a SWAT leader, takes a pistol to a pub?

12 hours for the story to surface. Carrier pigeons would be quicker. Saving face can be a curse. This is not over yet.

 

Firing 10 shots and killing a man, over getting pushed is heinous, sickening, not the way real men behave and intolerable. Unfortunately, this world has way too many law enforcement officers who are drunk with their power, and abuse it.

 

This is not just about Thailand. This is about toxic and dangerous law enforcement. Never liked them. Never will. 

Not only D & A tests, they all may need a sanity test now

The cops keep saying how they are going to solve gun violence and illegal guns.
Yet?
The last two really violent episodes where cops (and ex-cops) with their service pistols.
Who protects the public from drunk/drugged violent cops?  Just saying....

They need to clear the **** out of their own backyards first inho.

It has nothing specifically to do with police.  It seems to be a general overall mentality with many of the locals. Not all but a number of them.  A childish , immature, aggressive mentality.  Where the slightest little thing would set them off.  They react to things like children having a tantrum.  But sometimes with more serious consequences.
