It will be a big difference for the hub I was watching some monkey business in a supermarket car park yesterday where something was being moved between vehicles.... it wasn't hot, nobody was sat in either vehicle, yet both engines were running. I was surprised when I came out of the shop this was still the case... must have plenty of money for fuel or a bad battery! 1

Popular Post Bim Smith Posted November 15, 2022 Popular Post Posted November 15, 2022 I see a huge increase diesel generators to power it. Even Elon Musk stated many years ago if everybody drove electric vehicles you would need to increase grid capacity three fold. That ain't happening in Thailand. 2 1
Popular Post Stargeezr Posted November 15, 2022 Popular Post Posted November 15, 2022 700 kms. in an EV with the AC blasting, I seriously doubt that. With the current battery in EVs, it will take another pile of years to get that kind of distance on a hot day in Thailand or any tropical country. Oh did you know the battery in an EV is also very expensive to replace? 5 1

Popular Post Aussieroaming Posted November 16, 2022 Popular Post Posted November 16, 2022 We hear this same snot adnauseum, when will this hub nonsense ever end. Thailand is the hub of road carnage and death and that's it, I would love if all of their vehicles became electric, how blissful would that be if like me you live in a poxy city. 3
Popular Post BostonJoe Posted November 16, 2022 Popular Post Posted November 16, 2022 Opening hours for bars, malls, and many other venues could be shrunk to save electricity, according to the Thai Energy Ministry Something tells me electric cars just don't fit into this equation 3 1 4 3

By reducing hours, saving power, they will be able to use the power saved to power the hub of EV's.....makes perfect sense. Just open the shops and so on from 10 am to 6pm, then close so the EV's can be charged and driven the next day..... Edited November 16, 2022 by ThailandRyan 1 1 1

Popular Post Flink Posted November 16, 2022 Popular Post Posted November 16, 2022 Ah, so now all becomes clear. They are giving a hollidays to people in Bangkok during the Apec, not because of pollution but because those 8,000,000 baht+ i7's won't last 5 minutes in a trafic jam. Wonder how many they bought? 2 1

Thailand sub-contractors to the auto industry... nothing of it's own. why couldn't Apec leaders be moved around in the back bed of a pick-up? Or Song Taews? 2
