If you were correct the law might have had something to say about it, but it hasn't, has it?

Well, it would be required that the owner files a complaint, which is unlikely.

A rare agreement from me on that!

What story was there to suppress? Has it magically been verified that it affected anything? Has the hard drive now been verified as completely clean?

If there was no story then why did the FBI make it go away till after the elections.

The laptop story was suppressed by FBI leading up to election. Let's keep the truth away from the American people till after the election.

Link to that claim? the FBI did warn social media facebook and Twitter that they thought there was a lot of Russian propaganda in the 2016 election, we have it on notice that basically there's about to be some kind of dump that's similar to that. Where did they mention the laptop story?

Was it suddenly verified after the elections because I see that nowhere?

It's common knowledge in the news. If you're this much behind, you perhaps should limit your posting.

And you truly believe that. Was it ever and still has it ever been truly verified as a non tampered with laptop.  It does not even meet the litmus test and any evidentiary value was lost due to chain of evidence and custody issues....ie to many fingers in the pot.

Just quoting you!

Really?  You have a source inside the FBI stating the laptop investigation was suppressed?

I thought that considering the origins of the data and the fact that there was no credible evidence of a crime that the investigation was a low priority for the FBI.

Maybe one of the PC makers, like Dell, should put out a Hunter Biden edition of a laptop, they are sure to get a lot of publicity and name recognition in the next two years.

To clarify, are you STILL claiming the laptop is a hoax? Russian disinformation? I refer you back to the title of this thread, which is laptop deniers(CBS) admitting the laptop they falsely claimed without evidence was a hoax is actually real. Quite an uncomfortable admission made in a desperate attempt to get ahead of the story after the left lost the house.

And as an expert on all thing surrounding this laptop, perhaps it will be you that can finally explain who the "big guy" is that made all these overseas deals possible for Jim, Valerie and Hunter in countries where vice president Biden had much power? It really is a mystery! Are there any honest democrat supporters that will take a stab at the very obvious question? Of course it is a rhetorical question, credible testimony by witness and partner in crime Tony Bobulinski corroborated everything BEFORE THE ELECTION and had the receipts to prove it. And the Biden's caught bang to rights didn't even deny it, they left that to the toadies. Who else could it have been? No-one else, that's who.

I suspect 'the big guy' was the most important person in his life, and that would have been his drug dealer.  That's also who probably got the bulk of any money he laid his hands on.

"...credible testimony by witness and partner in crime Tony Bobulinski corroborated everything BEFORE THE ELECTION and had the receipts to prove it."

Sure.  Why would a partner in crime lie?  Except maybe to further the crime.

What receipts are you referring to?  Do you have "credible testimony" from a witness that didn't have a financial incentive to lie?

Basic questions:

1. Is the data in the laptop real?  Yes.  No evidence that it isn't.

2. Was there a coverup? Yes. Witness the New York Post being banned from Twitter for a crucial week, plus other media outlets rushing to smear the story with untrue and deliberately fabricated lies.

3. Did it influence the election? Unknown, but the effort was there on the part of the Democrats and the mainstream media to choke the story because they were afraid that it would.

So now, move on to the contents and how the current occupant of the White House is implicated.

1.  Data can be true or false.

2.  The story wasn't covered because it was unverified.  The author of the story wouldn't stand behind it.  Provide a link to lies about the story.

3.  Unlikely it influenced the election to the degree that FBI Director Comey did days befoe the 2016 election.  Yet Trump supporters don't complain about that.

Yes, show that the contents of the laptop contain anything other than claims by fraudsters trying to make money via supposed influential connections to Joe Biden.  Any proof Joe Biden was involved in any of his son's shady business dealings, other than statements from a partner hoping to profit from these supposed connections?

1. OK, the data was accurate. To be pedantic. No evidence that it was forged or planted or altered in any way.

2. The media rarely wait to verify stories before printing.  See- Russia Collusion for example.  They publish, then verify, then issue correction/retractions.   Imagine this was Donald Trump Jr's laptop.  Do you honestly think the media would have held onto it?

Plus waiting for verification is one thing, but actively surpressing the story is another. Twitter FROZE the account of a major newspaper for a week. Other media actively crushed any mention of it.   They instead actively tried to DISprove it rather than verify. Witness the 50 'intelligence officials' who all said it was Russian disinformation.

Prove the data is accurate and the chain of custody on the computer can be traced as well as informing us how so many have seen the laptop and accessed its information to verify its content without tampering with it........go on....remember many have looked at it and believe it's real but has it truly been verified. Believing is not making things Verifiable. I believe in Santa Claus....

CBS conducted an independent forensic review, according to the original post here. The Washington Post and the New York Times did the same.  Is that enough evidence for you?

The paper said it spent months reviewing the data and making two copies of the hard drive so they could be analyzed by Matt Green, a Johns Hopkins University security researcher, and Jake Williams, a forensics expert and former National Security Agency operative. Both experts concluded that the verified emails carried cryptographic signatures that would be hard to fake, even for the best computer hackers.

Those emails which were verified are genuine. Does that cover all the emails?

And the thing is, there's nothing in those emails that's proof of any wrong doing by Biden. In fact, on the contrary the only time Biden's response to any of this is noted is when Hunter Biden said that the "chairman" gave an emphatic NO to getting involved in the China business.

According to the article, only 22,000 of them were verified....
