Why on earth would you even consider paying for sex in Thailand?
For variety. I am not sure how the OP expects expat pensioners to assemble a harem of a dozen beautiful young women, all panting to bestow their favours for free. Perhaps the dumbest question I have seen posted in commencing a thread. -

Bangkok Adopts Beijing’s Air Pollution Solutions in Landmark Deal
Any genuine effort to curb pollution is a good thing. However Beijing's pollution largely stems from industrial and urban activities, and not from farmers burning fields. That said, every bit helps. -

BMW Halts £600 Million Electric Mini Investment Amid Industry Uncertainty
No one is STOPPING. There are plenty of legacy manufacturers who put their fingers in their ears and covered their eyes and hoped EVs would go away. They didn't invest in the technology, they just hoped it would pass. They are still trying to get EV models out but they are not competitive. Looks at Nissan's EVs - pathetic. Look at Toyota's - pathetic. Very very expensive and pathetic. Meanwhile the Chinese brands invested heavily over the last 20 years and are so so many light years ahead that the legacy marques simply can't compete hence shelving projects as no one would buy them as they are too expensive and too inferior in spec and technology. It is almost too late for them to catch up now and many are partnering with the Chinese to license their tech. Toyota have literally invested millions and millions in anti EV propaganda hoping their brand name alone would see them through and the technology would go away. It hasn't, and it won't. Toyota markets "self charging hybrids" which only the most gullible would ever fall for and pay ridiculous money for. Expect to see many legacy brands either go under or merge with each other over the coming years.
