Popular Post roger101
I placed an order with Lazada for a keyboard and mouse. What I got was two rechargeable AAA batteries. So I though simple just return them and get a refund. After all all anybody can make mistakes. Started to fill in the form and they want an image of what I was sent . I have no idea how to to that. So the form filling was incomplete and stalled. No way to contact Lazada other than through their algorithm. Which doesn't respond to questions. So I'm stuck. This is the second time I have had a problem. It's going to be my last. If I could contact them it would be different but as I can't it's bye bye Lazada I won't bother in future. 2

I’m not sure its fair to blame lazada for lack of computer literacy. 6 1
Popular Post KhunBENQ
Using Lazada is like walking through a minefield. They are just a marketplace for most products. They don't check on the credibility of the sellers. I was lucky so far (and very cautious selecting seller, checking plausibility of prices etc.). 1 2
Popular Post Myran
Lazada is hardly to blame for your inability to take a picture. 5

edwinchester
I had a Lazada return about a year ago and the process seemed pretty straightforward at the time. If memory serves me right there is an option to add a picture of the item in the form.

Do you know how to email a photo from your phone? Can you download photos from your phone to your laptop? Do you have a digital camera, and can you download to your laptop?

richard_smith237
Roger.... We can help... (I’m forever assisting my parents with similar IT issues). Are you using Lazada on your Phone or a PC / Laptop ??? IF you are using lazada on your PC... you can use your phone to take a photo of the batteries and e-mail that to yourself, then save the photo (i.e. to your desktop). All you have to do then is drag and drop the photo into the relevant section in the Lazada Return page. OR... IF you are using Lazada on your Phone.... you can use your phone to take a photo of the batteries and then drag and drop the photo into the relevant section in the Lazada Return page. Popular Post Lacessit
I have 11 pages of orders with Lazada. I have had only one problem, with a non-functioning heater where I got a refund in about a week after sending the item back. It does baffle me why people have problems with Lazada. I am in my late seventies too. I would suggest to the OP he is never too old to learn. Life is easier when one can utilize some of the technology available. pagallim
Of course the other factor is that it is the seller, not Lazada, who is at fault. I take it that your order description is specific to what you thought you were ordering, and not what was actually received? Two pieces of advice, always specify 'Local' for a seller location when searching for an item, and secondly use the 'Cash on Delivery' facility.

I also look hard at supplier ratings, and feedback. I prefer payment in advance, as I don't want to have to wait around for deliveries.
it is what it is
if you don't know how to take and attach a photo with your phone either have a look on youtube or ask a younger person, that's what i do when i'm stuck.
steven100
maybe you accidently hit the batteries picture old timer instead of the keyboard and mouse, did you have your glasses on at the time of ordering. ? You really need to go to spec savers !!!

Why ???..... you still have to pay to take the delivery... You can’t open the item then return it. You still have to go through the full refund process into your Lazada Wallet. Thus; refund digitally is simpler. 1

NE1
roger101 , in Lazada's customer care , hit chat with Lazada. In the bottom window beneath all the options , type in Agent. This always gets me an online agent to help .

Jingthing
I buy so much from Lazada that I just write off 1 percent of orders that are mistakes (from me or them). In other words, I don't even bother with returns if an item is about 1,000 baht or less. Of course I would bother with a high priced item but so far that hasn't happened. 1

Then maybe online shopping isn't for you. But you could go to brick and mortar shop and pick up product from a shelf. It may cost more in time and money but at least it will avoid such disappointments. Every larger city would have Central (PowerBuy), The Mall (PowerMall), Lotus/Big C/Tukcom/Pantip/.. with BNN, JIB or IT City shop, on top of many small computer accessories shops scattered all over the country. Good luck.

With Shopee, you have 3 days to start the return process and even then it's for a very limited number of reasons. With Lazada, the window is much longer and you can return it for a wider range of reasons. I've returned many things to Lazada over the years with no issues. Agreed, sometimes it just isn't worth my time to go through the process, unless, as you say, it is for thousands of Baht.
Gsxrnz
Evil-Bay is much more reliable for refunds and returns. Most of the stuff available on Lazada and Shoppee originates from the Middle Kingdom anyway, so there is a wider choice and often better pricing on Evil-Bay. Delivery times are back to pre-plandemic timeframes. Bought a new kitchen tap with an extra outlet for filtered water last month from Chayna - arrived in seven days.
