As, Oliver Sacks, that profound observer of people on the Asperger spectrum observed, because of their extraordinary focus, they are capable of great things. Her affect may be a bit strange, but that says nothing about the quality of her thoughts. Also, time has passed and she is now 20. 3 2 1

Yes, agree totally, I was just pointing out that the attacks on her are completely unjustified and often very personal. Maybe her Aspergers has helped her be this singular and driven, I don't know enough about it. Either way, Sweetie has done well. Bitter people on this forum have also achieved great things though to be fair, I am pretty sure of it, possibly. 1 1 2

There were numerous people there from numerous different age groups and from numerous different genders , why are you singling out "middle aged males" whilst at the same time accusing me of misogynism ?

The actions of ballsy young people like GT will have played their part as they intend. See the likes of groups such as 38 Degrees, for example. Can't be that famous if I've never heard of 38 degrees. BTW, IMO if alternatives take over from IC engines it'll be because they are more profitable. I doubt the boards of Ford or GM are particularly concerned with what Greta has to say.

Really? Wrong. IMO the attacks are because she is apparently being used to promote an agenda. She was quite young when she ranted at the UN, and that's not the sort of thing normal young people do. The attacks would happen regardless of the gender. Seems some are looking to stop the opposing side with the "misogynistic" label, rather like shutting down opposition with the "racist" label. BTW I'm socialist, not right wing and I have no time for her. 3

Popular Post Scott Posted January 18, 2023 Author Popular Post Posted January 18, 2023 The bizarre, ‘fake’ arrest of Greta Thunberg goes viral Video footage has emerged of climate activist Greta Thunberg posing with German police shortly before she was carried away and detained during mass protests against a coal mine in the town of Lützerath. Images of Thunberg being carried away by police were broadcast across the world, with some protesters claiming it amounted to police violence. However, the reality of the detainment appears to be far different than initially reported. https://rmx.news/article/the-bizarre-fake-arrest-of-greta-thunberg-goes-viral/ Yes, the Greta Thunberg arrest was staged for the establishment media.pic.twitter.com/UtuRv0c2fD — Ian Miles Cheong (@stillgray) January 17, 2023 1 1 1
