Run a marathon , it will change your life forever , no matter how out of condition you are , no matter that you have never ran in your life or how slowly you run , if you set your mind to doing it and through willpower and determination , anyone can achieve their goal and the feeling of accomplishment will live with you forever. Last Sunday I completed my 26th full marathon at age 69.. go on , you can do it!

sounds intersting. however i hate running but i do like trekking.

i may head off the the north for a while soon.

thanks for your 2 cents buddy! ????

If there is one thing more boring than a drunk it's somebody who gave up drinking, they never stop going on about it and telling you how long it is since they gave it up.

Fact is , it's very easy to give up drinking. I know, I've done hundreds of times already.

As for a goal I would like to achieve ....for me , to do the Cape Wrath Trail would be a huge dream fulfilled.

Wanted to go there since I was a teenager but spent my life abroad. Going for a home visit in April and am tempted to give it a go but at 65 would probably be too much. That plus to buy all the hiking gear from scratch plus getting to the start point at Fort William then back again to the Isle of Wight could easily cost 600 pounds or more. Might have a few bottles of wine and a walk along the beach instead.

Only goal is having a happy life with my family. For that, the only thing I had to give up is sex with strangers...

To live as long and as healthy as I can.

Don't think you can have both.

One of them has got to give up first.????????

Fair call but my Mum recently had a fall  had to give her home up, and has been put into an aged care facility.

91 years young and I am told she is just skin and bone.

I will still be riding my motorbike when I'm in my 90's. ????

my goal is to amass copious amounts of money, which i will then use to destroy evil people.

Have a guess what single mindedly amassing copious amounts of money usually turns a person into?
