Maybe it's better to give moral support instead of 5 million baht.

As pointed out before me, what a joke. Probably costs close to that for them to make the SWIFT transfer.

Woeful generosity !!
Although you just need look at how much people here get helped by their government when in need , while those in lala land decide what Richard Mille watch to buy :

What a good man he is..out of Thailand.

It probably started off as 50 mill.B, but only 5 made it!

come on chaps....it`s coming out of his own pocket isn`t it..............:cheesy:

Was that from a whip round in the officers mess? It's shocking how small. Embarrassing for Thailand!!!

It’s the thought that counts!    555.       Don’t think too much….

What exactly was it?

- Cash? Wire transfer? What currency?

- humanitarian support in the form of "Sardines and Crackers"?

- Few tons of rice: jasmin, brown, grade C?

- Thoughts and Prayers Obama style?

Seriously 5M even in $ still is ridiculous.

PS: Yesterday they pulled little kid who spent 76 hours under debris. Horrible!

Almost 200 countries in the world, if all gave 5 million baht it would a good amount. Thailand also sent a team of workers there to help find the people berried in the rubble. Good on you Thailand!!!

Wow, a whopping 148,000 dollars...

This kind of an amount could almost be considered an insult !

They would be better off sending a few plane loads of rice, especially to Syria, with the political situation in the country, they need more aid than Turkey.

Or medical supplies to Syria only 20% of the people they are getting any aid.
