Why attempt to say the woman is at fault involving 'face'. She wanted her due money for the food she supplied to the farang.

It's hard to short change someone that hasn't paid.

The only story about "hasn't paid" is from a woman at 02:00 who might possibly be taking advantage of the well lubricated state of her customer.

I think about a 20,000 baht fine for the Kabab lady would be about right...Cough up 20,000 or sit in jail indefinitely, is what I would say to make this right....

Why these “reporters” so often only write down the story from what the thai person said what and how it has happened?

Come on.....He smashed her head against a pole in front of the police.......I would say he was 110% in the wrong.......He needs to pay up some big money or stay in jail....

Well I suspect he/she only spoke Thai, and the other person involved was a babbling incoherent drunk.

Police rushed to halt a fight that broke up in the middle of Pattaya near the opposite of the Flipper House Hotel

They sauntered the thirty metres from the police station to the hotel.

I guess it must either be a pathological thing, or just a mental defect. But, why do some people create such problems over such tiny things? What did he owe her? 150 baht? Is he a desperado, or just a fool? Or both?

Remember the good old days of covid? LOL. It was so calm here. No rotten Danes running around.

Another quality tourist. Thailand attracts them like bees to honey. I can't imagine that Singapore, for example, has to deal with such human trash.

Yes, expect daily headlines about drunken Brits, Australians, Germans, Americans etc. causing mayhem through refusing to pay what they believe to be extortionate bills, but none about drunken Thais. They'll probably take up the headlines for shooting people dead in disagreements about music being too loud or parking spaces!!!

The fat git ordered 3 Kebabs, 210b a clear sign says 70baht each, lock him up in IDC with rice soup until he only needs one kebab on the way home, then deport him. This is the type of person i do not want to meet in Thailand. Ahole go home. :post-4641-1156693976:

Of course it could be that the woman was trying to cheat by short changing etc.

We have yet to hear the other side of this story.

Wow, why jump to say that?

Why is Hong Kong advertising interrupting this Web page?

Agree, every few seconds it appears on the rght side of my screen, not small, have to keep moving what I'm reading or what I;m writing to above the advertising.

Really annoying.

I realize the site needs revenue but there's plenty of other spaces the ads could be plced.

Please move this advertising to another spot on the screen.  as said really really annoying.

"while police were investigating the incident, the Danish man snuck in another attack at the woman directly in front of law enforcement officers, having pulled her by the hair and smashed her head into a pole."

Nice victim blaming attempt.

Better to read the whole story before you make silly remarks.

the cost of a kebab worth all the bad publicity   ( or is face that important) ?

so you're condoning his behaviour?

Maybe because foreigners - especially when drunk - tell whooping big lies! Especially when they know they f***ed up.

weed in brain…

1 M brain cells broken???? …. per hour!

Whatever the true story behind this is the Danish guy is a drunken slob who lets all westerners down with this kind of behaviour.

Indeed.

In Pattaya it's some troublemakers as drunk as a skunk.

In Phuket it's crash pilots on Patong hill.

No statistics needed for number of tourists.

He seems nice ????
