Bikini-wearing durian seller sparks controversy in Kamphaeng Phet (VIDEO)

Kamphaeng Phet - A young woman wearing a pink bikini has created a buzz by selling durians in front of a roadside shop.

 

The event quickly became a trending post after the Facebook fan page for “Thip Durian” posted a photo of her peeling durians, attracting many comments and inquiries, reported Thai Rath.

 

A reporter visited the “Thip Durian” shop and found it located along Kamphaeng Phet-Phichit Road in Mueang District.

The shop, which sells durians under small tents, has garnered many customers and followers on social media who come to support and take photos throughout the day.

 

The woman behind the bikini, Ms. Aranya or Nong Aum, is 22 years old. She sells durians to help her mother, Mrs. Pantip, who has been selling seasonal fruits for over 31 years to generate income and send her children to study.

According to Nong Aum, durian sales have exceeded expectations, and she has been diligently sorting durians while taking photos with customers and photographers to post on social media. However, the durian thorns have scratched her right leg, causing it to bleed.

 

Nong Aum revealed that she did not intend to dress in a bikini to sell durians; it was merely a trend that started after taking pictures with well-known photographers and posting them on social media.

She normally wears regular clothes when selling durians, and she only dresses up and takes photos like this occasionally. Nonetheless, sales have increased since the incident, but she does not dress this way all the time.

 

For those interested in visiting and supporting the shop, “Thip Durian” is located along Kamphaeng Phet-Phichit Road in Mueang District.
