Popular Post webfact Posted July 5, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 5, 2023 Lt. Gen. Patchasak Patirupanon, assistant spokesperson to the Deputy Prime Minister, denied General Prawit Wongsuwan was asleep during the House of Representatives meeting yesterday. Lt. Gen. Patchasak reckons the 77 year old was looking down at the ground and looking up, not sleeping. The picture of the deputy PM allegedly snoozing caused much mirth and merriment on Thai social media as “Uncle Pom” has been caught on several occasions napping at inappropriate times. Indeed, the picture raised health concerns for the deputy PM. Dr Rungsrit Kanjanavanit, from the Department of Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University, alerted to the possible signs of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). He advised a sleep test and, if severe, the use of a Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) machine. by Bob Scott #news Full story: https://thethaiger.com/news/national/deputy-prime-ministers-frequent-dozing-prompts-health-concerns-and-calls-for-sleep-test -- © Copyright Thaiger 2023-07-06 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. AustinRacing Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Problem solved. But wait a minute wearing glasses or having grey hair is not a good look for Thai elite. Ok back to “I was calculating important figures in my head. I best do that with my eyes closed to minimize distraction. I’m always calculating figures in my head. Jing jing” 1

sirineou Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Quote Deputy PM Prawit denies nap claims, insists he was just grounded From the picture in another thread, I would disagree, but he did look like he was ready to fall out of his chair, at which point he would definitely be "grounded"

connda Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 "Blah blah blah blah blah!" You're promoting "ageism!" I'm in my 70s. No I'm not. I'm promoting realism. There comes a time to retire for the betterment of society. Prawit? Doesn't get it. And I'm speaking globally. After 65, it's time to retire from public office and hand the reigns of power to a different generation.

chalawaan Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 He seems increasingly obsessed with the ground, if he's not staring at it, he often almost takes a dive for it, saved only by young fawning grovellers. One day he will make contact. Likely the only "contact" he will ever have in his long undistinguished military career.
