If you were looking for a new relationship today what age gap would you aim for and why?

Recommended Posts

I would not only choose, but I would marry a girl between 90 to 100 years old.

Why ?

In my country, once a spouse dies, the surviving partner gets a widows pension of €220.00 per week (8,200+Bht) This is not means tested, but is taxable. So I could continue to work and not lose it. The only way to lose it is by re-marrying or co-habiting with a new partner.

Sure but did you have to pay her relocation expenses?

I don't know what you're talking about Jerry.

This photo was taken in a photo studio at Chiang Mai KSK mall in 2009, and I was there with her and paid for them. If you'd like to direct me to a site that is using photos to which I own copyright, I'd be please to issue a 'cease and desist' notice, but you haven't done that have you?

Many young girls will gladly settle for a huge age gap - as long as he's loaded and the closer to death, the better.

We're not talking about real relationships here, but men buying young brides, or young ladies selling years of their lives for profit down the line.

When an expat finds himself single at an older age, say 50 plus, he needs to do the world and himself a favour and stay single. If he needs a caregiver - then just employ one.

What a load of nonsense!  Plenty of men don't settle down and get married until they're in their 50s and if they want children, they need to find a younger wife.  I truly wonder if some BMs live in or have ever been to Thailand!

Maybe @GinBoy2 was right, because there's always someone on AN trying to put other posters down.

But I don't need to read their posts after the first one!

"What a load of nonsense" is no way to debate with someone. Are you looking for a fight? Tone it down, dude. If you don't agree, then just say so politely.

I know what I'm talking about as I'm 28+ years older than my wife. The age gap was okay when I was a younger, but now it's too much. I know what it's like getting older with a much younger lady. Our relationship started in her late teens, now she's 35. If I could do my time over, I wouldn't have started this relationship... not for my sake, but for hers. Now she lives with a 64-year old grumpy old man that wastes too much time talking to other old expats on this forum.

I love the lady, but it's time to let her go.

I know my bank account wouldn't survive for long. Those things are 600 baht a pill at my local pharmacies. Mind sharing where you get yours from?

Try a thing called Shompoo Shern. Available in Lazada 350 baht per 10. Mate of mine put me onto them. I was a bit turned off he said they were herbal but man they are dynamite and no spaced out feeling, red face or side effects. Usually one pill good for 2 days. Bit slower working than Cialis, Kamagra etc....maybe 2 hours but best thing I have tried. Apparently available in a lot of pharmacies as the Thais know their value

I'm glad someone gets it. Now at 64 I have no more ambitions, just to live comfortably until I expire. She's young enough to still have goals and dreams. I'm holding her up... it doesn't help that things don't work as well as they once did (an understatement). I feel sorry for her and guilty that I've wasted much of her young life.

But funny. Or are we going to censor humour now?

I dunno.

Should we start with jokes about Jews getting exterminated as well?

Or maybe that's too much? Maybe we should just stick to pedo jokes ?

I'm not in charge here so I couldn't say where the limit of humour is on here.

Met my first wife when I was 11 and she was 22 , we married when I was 17 and our 1st daughter was born ,

always liked older women until I was 30  as they delivered the goods ,, now at 65 I prefer women in their 30s or 40s

...and women in their 30s or 40s prefer a 65 yo man?

I  mean, women outside the bar area.

He could. Doesn't change a thing to the nature of the comment.

The offending comment and any referals to it have been removed. If it was my forum, I'd permanently remove the user as well. We don't need people like that on here, or people who thought it was funny.

The usual few trolls and borderline pedos active in this thread

And then there are those people who mention that word so often without knowing what it means.

Here is a hint: Guys who like teenage girls over 16 or so are not pedos.

And if you don't agree then look up the definition.

If she doesn't want to be with you anymore then she should end the relationship. It's up to her. Or not?

I choose "or not". I want to be with her and she wants to be with me. I'm thinking of her future, and with me it's not bright, or long.

If I had to choose now I would chose a much older woman because by that age both their eyesight and sense of smell is failing.

And since both of mine have failed a long time ago,

A win win situation.

And it's up to you.

We all make our decisions. And we live with the consequences. That's life.

And all your knowledge comes from where?

Lots of women of any age want a guy who takes care of them.

Why should a guy entertain a 50 yo woman who wants his money if he can have a 20 yo who wants his money?

And all your knowledge comes from where?

Your point is taken, and refuted. We can't all agree on everything, can we?
