According to a Phuket Express report, the chief of Karon Police, Khundet Na Nongkhai, was informed of the first discovery by lifeguards yesterday, August 30. Is it space junk? Is it from a fishing vessel or an aircraft? The large piece of silver and black debris weighs around 200 kilograms and has a label codes and blue wires attached to it. It has now been secured with ropes, with representatives from the Royal Thai Navy and Phuket International Airport trying to identify where it might have come from. Hamus Yaigh Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 Not too dissimilar to Indian Space RO rocket debris on Australian shore a couple months ago. It's amazing in this day and age countries can set of space rockets and expect others to clean up after them when parts fall off back on earth. 1
