She could make her way to Trang airport, then fly to Don Muang/BKK, then fly DMK to UTP. then bus/van/taxi to Pattaya.

IMO seems like a lot of transfers.

What airline flies from Bangkok (BKK or DMK) to UTP?

None to my knowledge. Air Asia used to do plenty of "local" flights but Covid did for them and until very large numbers of Chinese come back to Thailand that's how it will stay.

None, never and will never happen on such short distance.

UTP is extremely quiet. Two flights today (Dubai and Macau).

On some days flights to/from Phuket and Ko Samui.

That's about it.

@Old car dealer agree with bignok, if lady coming just to see you, then pop down to see her instead, and take in Phatthalung.  Experience a different TH if haven't already.

Unless she's just heading to Patts to work, then as stated by other, no airport at Phatthalung, so she'll need to plan accordingly.
