Anyone knows why fighter jets are circling around Bangkok whole day already?

Featured Replies

They are quite loud, sometimes flying solo, sometimes in groups of about 10-15.

Anyone knows what's going on? In many years this is the first time I see/hear them.

Practicing to finally go after those pesky ladyboys ripping off gold chains?

Maybe on patrol to see if any overstaying foreigners/farangs around ?

Could be something to do with National flag day, when it changed from a single elephant to the one they have now.

The big boys having fun on the taxpayer's expense - as usual ....... or is it, that finally the dirty farang and alien are invading Thailand from the air and the Air Force is out in force? Would explain the imminent need for the submarines, as the armed forces are not prepared yet against those alien arriving by swimming and diving ????

Could be Chinese PLA airforce intimidation tactics to prevent Thais from ripping off the millions of Chinese tourists arriving any day now.

Nah

Probably trying to discover if they can fit wings to abandoned submarines to make some use of them

Could be a celebration of the resurrection of Prawit's dead friend but that's a guess ????

Probably because Thailand lacks any effective submarine deterrence. Approve the submarine purchase asap.

Are they Chinese or Thai aircraft?

In preparation . WWIII coming any day now.

Interested to know team lists.

Maybe Russia, China, Thailand, India versus USA, England, Japan, Germany.

I can see a new board game being sold on the shelves any day.

Nah. Impossible right? The world has mixed up too much with its races now. A lot of Chinese living in America and vice versa. Probably just for a pleasant sky outing for the day.

Immo's upgraded the smart BMW's

Immigration have gotten ride of their BMW's and are now using fighter planes fitted with their face recognition technology,

They think that can find more farangs on over stays this way, cover more distance each day, finding more dirty over stay Farangs to deport ✈️

Hmmm…. Clearly flying around to detect those pesky farangs involved in heinous crimes like overstaying for example. “ Bugger the cost” was reported to have been said by an Immigration boss

There was a joint Thai-US exercise recently.

... or could it be to agitate some idling foreigners?
