This thread is about Israel's war with Hamas in Gaza. No idea why you are dragging the West Bank Palestinians into it.

"No idea". The only logical words in your nonsensical posts.

ISRAEL IS AT WAR !

Israel has always been at war. A people that are throughly and tita6 incompatible with other tribes and ethnicities. They work at it.

Blame UK/US that land should have never been given to those white Europeans.

Most countries in the world have normal relations with Israel. This would include Thailand. And, in all probability, your own home country.

Hateful fantasies are bad for the skin, I hear.

Does anyone else wonder if all, or most, of the Palestinians in Gaza know the full extent of the depraved and barbaric acts carried out by their government on their behalf; or would Hamas have been able to prevent them from knowing anything other than what they want them to know.

Many were out on the streets cheering the dead bodies of Israeli women on pick up trucks, but that doesn’t mean they know everything that happened in their name.

There must be thousands of women in Gaza with babes in arms, would they be aware of the slaughter of babies at Kfar Aza, and if so what would they think about their government for carrying out such atrocities on their behalf.

Are they so full of hatred that they would condone the acts of their government. They will obviously be unhappy about it retrospectively because of the retaliation, but It would be nice to think that there are  Palestinians that are as disgusted as the rest of the world by the barbarity of their government.

Ummm....no.

The political divide is not quite a geographic one as you present. There are Hamas supporters in the West Bank, and PA supporters in the Gaza Strip. Both get face occasional harassment and prosecution from the respective powers in control.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no such popular Palestinian desire for separate states (as in the West Bank and Gaza Strip). On the contrary, events in one area often cause reactions in the other. The issue is more political in nature, and by now, also of maintaining power and control.

To add, it's been years since elections were held among Palestinians. So, in effect, the Palestinian people do not have a direct say even with regard to their own leaderships decisions and policies.

The Gazans are culturally distinct from the West Bank Palestinians, and have no desire to be governed by the Palestinian Authority. Except for a brief period after 2005, the 2 regions have never been united politically.

This whole attack was a failure and a defeat for Israel , failure on all fronts .

Mossad, IDF , every aspect was a failure .

Israel's invincibility and strength has also now being questioned and huge weaknesses have been exposed .

It was a unanimous defeat for Israel on all fronts , Israel doesn't want to publicise  the photos of the atrocities caused by Hamas because its just publicising how much of a failure they were and how the Israeli Government failed its people.

Israel just showed the photos to those that need to know  , so they realise the extent of Israels response

What a stupid question.

Palestinians are people no different than you or I.

Why do you feel comfortable judging all Palestinians by their worst examples?

Are Israeli's or Jews all equally as guilty as their worst examples?

It would be nice to think there weren't people as dumb as this question indicates there is.

I was explaining why Israel wouldn't want to publish any photos and why Biden was told to keep quiet about seeing them .

If you got beaten up by a skinny weak teenage girl , you wouldn't then take photos of your injuries and show the photos to the girls mate showing how much you got beaten .

None of those posts call for killing ALL Muslims, just some of them.  The ones in Gaza. Even if they are atheist. I wouldn't want that for my Muslim family members who live elsewhere.

Stop embarrassing yourself. First it was your calamitous error over Twitter / X removing Hamas affiliated accounts, then supporting a factually incorrect comment.

Most people when they have their failings exposed, choose to keep their heads down, but you augment the ill informed nature of your comments by continually obfuscating with meaningless drivel.

“1946 is near enough” …. oh, really ¯\_()_/¯

I see you’ve now posted over 220 comments on this thread, which is looking very much like an obsession. Have you superglued the shovel to your hands, because you seem to be incapable of putting it down ?

If one might pinch a quote from Alice in Wonderland: "Speak roughly to your little boy
and beat him when he sneezes!
he only does it to annoy,
because he knows it teases!"

So all of the muslims and atheists in Gaza should be killed?

Charming indeed.

Of course, no comparisons to the holocaust could be made to such a statement, that would be offensive.

Not exactly.

There are differences, in the same way 'city' Arabs in Israel look down on 'village' Arabs, and both despising Bedouins. There are phrases, or accents associated with this region or that. Other stuff as well. But the differences are not 'distinct' as in these are two different people. It might have been more obvious in earlier days, but since the Israeli occupation post-1967, the formation of the Palestinian Authority and the advent of social media, a lot has changed.

For one thing, about 70% of Gaza's people are not originally from Gaza, but are refugees who fled there in 1948. This people have stronger ties to communities in the West Bank, where there are also many similar groups.

The Palestinian divide is a fact, but it's not exactly along the lines suggested.

That policy was changed about a day ago. Mainly to counter the narratives of disbelief and denial (see up stream in this topic). A whole lot of pictures and footage out there. Gruesome stuff.

Seems like Hamas wants the Palestinians to stay in their homes in Gaza after Israel told them to leave their homes .

Seems like Hamas want a high causality rate , otherwise they would tell the Palestinians  to go to safe areas

Israel-Palestine latest news: Hamas orders civilians in Gaza to stay in their homes

Palestinians flash the V for victory sign as they flee to safer areas in Gaza City after Israeli air strikes - MAHMUD HAMS / AFP

Hamas has ordered civilians in Gaza to stay at home as the UN said more than 400 children had been killed in missiles strikes on the strip.

The Hamas order came after Israel demanded that all civilians, more than one million people, flee towards Gaza’s south, ahead of an inspected invasion.

It's even more cynical, knowing Hamas operatives and leaders are dug in their tunnels and bunkers, while leaving the general populace out.
