In the jungle Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 A study of more than 400,000 UK road accidents found that when “risky or aggressive manoeuvres” played a part in collisions, there was a significant statistical difference in driver culpability across different brands. Dodgy driving – covering such reported infringements as speeding, jumping a red light, overtaking on double white lines or ignoring the humble pedestrian crossing – was more likely to be a factor when a Subaru, Porsche and BMW was involved than a Skoda or Hyundai. https://www.theguardian.com/business/2023/nov/11/bmw-subaru-and-porsche-drivers-more-likely-to-cause-a-crash-study-finds

VocalNeal Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Oh dear the LBGTQ community won't be happy. Given that most Subaru's in the US are driven by lesbians. And as some posters are too lazy to research topics here are a couple of links. https://www.npr.org/2022/06/29/1108739853/when-subaru-came-out-classic https://priceonomics.com/how-an-ad-campaign-made-lesbians-fall-in-love-with/ 2
Tropicalevo Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Here on Samui, safari truck drivers, closely followed by mini van drivers would top the list.

He couldn't drive a carrot up a cow's bum. 1

HappyExpat57 Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 What's the difference between a porcupine and a Porsche? With a porcupine the pricks are on the outside. 1
OneMoreFarang Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 A long time ago, in a country far away, I was driving BMW. Once I had an accident, my fault, and I needed a new front fender. I went out with a friend to several scrapyards which sold 2nd hand car parts. They had lots of BMW parts. Lots of parts for the rear of the cars, but very few for the front. Now what could be the reason... ;)
Airalee Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Must be a British thing. It’s different in America. https://www.victoriaadvocate.com/make-and-break-five-auto-brands-with-the-most-car-accidents-2021/article_07e1ab9e-13d5-5e14-9600-5b3d823db809.html The car brand with the lowest accident rate. This may come as a surprise: of all car makes, Porsche is the brand with the lowest rate of accidents. In fact, just 8.62 out of every 100 Porsche drivers have an at-fault accident on their record. That means Porsche motorists cause accidents 22 percent less often than the average United States driver. Even the Porsche model with the highest rate of accidents, the Porsche Boxster ( 9.89 per 100 drivers), still has a rate 10 percent lower than average. 1 1

If it was hit in the rear, the repairs will be much less expensive and fewer potential headaches/hidden damage etc.
