I've had 7 bottles of Chang and 4 Gin & Sprite .....      it's been a good day but sadly I think about my aunties, uncles, family , cousins .... they're all gone .... they're all dead and I didn't see any of them for 30+ years so i'm left here .......

I'm sitting here listening to music from some of the best performing artist we will ever know .....    but sadly I realize they are all dead.

David Bowie - Heroes ....    he's dead

Kenny Rogers & Dolly - Islands in the stream ....   he's  dead

Bee Gees -  How can you mend a broken heart ...   they're mostly dead

Elvis Presley - Suspicious minds ...   he's dead

Tina Turner -  Simply the best ....  she's dead

Elton John's - Goodbye England's rose ... Princess Diana ...  she died

Barry White & Paverotti - My first my last my everything ...  they're both dead

Demis Roussos -  Goodbye my Love goodbye ....   he's dead

Whitney Houston - I will always love you ....  she's dead

When you see the hearse go by
You know you'll be the next to die
They'll wrap you up in a big white sheet
And drop you down about 50 feet
The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out
The worms play pinochle on your snout

There are however still lots of outstanding and still fully alive performers, both from the nostalgic past and great newcomers...:whistling:

I agree and am in the same position but think about it differently:  We lived through an era that will never be matched nor repeated nor will anybody understand our fortune.

But I reckon I have the answer:

Justin Beiber!! Wow!

(bet you feel better now lol!)

Well the list is way longer and will get longer as they all age and eventually ...die.

Some times before their time.

Give you some more names

Johny "guitar" Watson

James Brown

Prince

Michael Jackson

Stevie Ray Vaughn

Status Quo ( 2 members)

The Sweet (mostly all, only Andy Scott is alive )

Eddie van Halen

Garry Moore

Chuck Berry

And the list goes on and the list goes on

Meh, I listened to most of those when I was a teenager.

Old music is boring, now I listen to stuff I can dance to!

Which is why I'm getting cremated.

I wasn't aware that all of them were dead. I thought Chuck was rockin' still, but apparently not.

It must be a h_ell of a band up there.

The last of those I loved that I knew died was Tina. She will live on in a thousand cabaret shows, like Elvis. The Malibu show in Pattaya had a great Tina impersonator.

Sadly this is Life.

When one gets Older Most people that one Knows/Know  Die /Died around one

If one dies at a Young age one doesn't have that problem.

I prefer to get Old, Now 77 and a few people I did know have gone, no problem learned to live with that.

The people in your community are your family. The people on this board are your family. It’s up to you. It’s all in the mind.
If you didn’t see your ‘close’ family for 30 years, perhaps you weren’t that close. All you are doing now is continuing that isolation.
For me, I have my real family, but the people around are also my ‘brothers and sisters’. Same same, but different.
You are only alone if you choose to be alone. I often choose it because I like peace.
It’s nice to have the choice.

Paul Rodgers is extremely ill at present and cannot sing at all. Not long for this world by the looks of things.
