Newmont's Peñasquito Mine in Mexico is the worlds biggest silver mine, it's a gold, silver, lead zinc deposit and produced 30 million oz of silver annually. Industrias Peñoles is the world's biggest silver producer, it's mines in Mexico produce a combined total of 80 million oz of silver annually along with 750,000oz of gold, 62,000 tonnes of lead, 200,000 tonnes of zinc, and 17,000 tons of copper. Fresnillo Plc in Mexico produce 56 million oz silver and 630,000oz gold annually. Overall Mexico is the world's largest silver producer with a total of approximately 6,300 tonnes per annum equivalent to about 200 million oz. Glencore is indeed a significant mining company and a major producer of copper and cobalt, and it produces about 20 million oz of silver annually as a by-product of it's global copper production of 1 million tonnes annually. Copper mining is a significant supplier of silver, but most silver is a product of gold, lead and zinc mining. -

What exactly is a Thai pink ID card?
Thats been one of the most 'common' comments on this forum in response things working out differently... ... I think people see the occasional guy looking like a bum and assume everyone else dresses that way when they face a bureaucratic brick-wall. Its long been noted that the Yellow Book / Pink ID is not accepted at the DLT in Pattaya. In Bangkok, the regulations are interpreted differently and we can use the Yellow Book / Pink ID which makes things much easier. Its the same for opening Bank accounts, travel, checking into hotels etc. Also, for having someting 'small' at hand (in the wallet) if asked for ID (but in 'most' cases a driving license will suffice and beyond that, a photo of the passport our phone will). Nothing can be done with the Yellow Book / Pink ID that can't with a passport - but having these documents has saved time and money over the years, certainly not needed, but they add a layer of convenience. -

If guilty beyond reasonable doubt then lock him up for good and lose the keys. Once you're done with this inacceptable behaviour (always under the assumption that he is the impersonated monster others claim him to be) then why not carry on with the clean-up job all over Thailand with all those uncles "taking care" of the next generation? It is certainly not unheard of and most cases happen within the coziness of the culprits own family 😞
