Melody stuck in head: How to banish? Which song(s) plagues you most?
The best way to get rid of a song in your head is to play it a few times and to understand the full text. If you don't know all of the words it can be very challenging to forget it and it will keep your head busy. -

An Era of Common Sense ?
I do not accept that I have 'missed the point' at all. Trump was using the gender word simply to mask the true meaning of his comment. The man is clearly homophobic. 'Trump has launched at least 225 attacks on LGBTQ+ rights since first becoming president'. https://www.thepinknews.com/2025/01/20/donald-trump-225-lgbtq-rights-attacks/ -

My friend wants to stay in an artsy area of bangkok. Is there such an option?
Graffiti Park sounds "arty" and best of all sleeping in the park is FREE. 👍 Bangkok's street art scene is vibrant and diverse, with several key areas showcasing impressive murals and graffiti. Here are some notable locations to explore: 1. Charoen Krung Road: Soi Charoenkrung 32: This alley features murals by Thai and international artists, including the three-eyed child by Alex Face and a funky bear character by Bonus TMC. Soi Charoenkrung 30: Home to "Scratching the Surface," a wall carving by Portuguese artist Vhils, and stencil work by Italian duo Sten and Lex. Soi Charoenkrung 28: Features "Pukruk" by Meubon, a colorfully dressed bird on a unicycle, and a black-and-white mural by Korean artist Daehyun Kim. 2. Talat Noi: This historic neighborhood near Chinatown is adorned with numerous murals, making it a popular spot for street art enthusiasts. 3. Chaloemla Park (Graffiti Park): Located near Ratchathewi BTS Station, this park was transformed into an outdoor gallery during the Bukruk Urban Arts Festival, featuring works by various artists. 4. Khlong Saen Saep: The canal's walls, especially near the Hua Chang Bridge, display thought-provoking murals, offering a unique blend of urban art and waterways. 5. Ong Ang Walking Street: This area comes alive in the evenings with street art, hidden alleys, and a vibrant atmosphere, making it a must-visit for art lovers. Exploring these areas will provide a comprehensive view of Bangkok's dynamic str eet art landscape. -

Melody stuck in head: How to banish? Which song(s) plagues you most?
A year or so ago I watched a modern German wartime movie, Phoenix (2014), where this song was featured. I then remembered my mother singing this song when I was an infant over 70 years ago. It must have been deep in my subconscious, and when I heard it again, it kept playing over and over in my mind until I recently found it again on YouTube. There are many versions--it was made popular in my mother's time by her favorite, Frank Sinatra, and later by his wife, the stunner Ava Gardner. Here is Ava's version. -
