How far in advance can you make an Appointment for an Extension (CW)?
Perhaps choose family and then enter second person info then next etc. The problem might be that just earlier (when I made appointment) there was only one slot on the day I requested 8.30am So how they can add multiple slots? Give it a try and update if possible. -

Frozen in time: British expats losing out on pensions in Thailand
"People in general should be wise enough to save up for their retirement later on in life, not to depend on the gov't, regardless of what you may think is fair or not fair." Sometimes, people in general do not have the spare cash to save up for their retirement - they live from day to day, and I think that will apply even more during this years "Bleak Winter" due to the absurd cost of Utility Bills (£1700 p.a. average) I was in a position where I was having to pay a mortgage on a single salary, pay child maintenance based on a previous higher salary, and although the Government Rules and Regs states that "Full time education ceases at 16", and any education beyond that point ("A" levels, University etc is classed as "Further Education", by order of the local Magistrates Court to make maintenance payments until my daughter finished University i.e. 21!) OK, that was a few years ago, and I sold the house at a substantial profit and moved abroad, but my point is that not everybody is in a position to save for their retirement, due to circumstances that may be beyond their control. -

I hope this is sarcasm. I'd like to see what she would do in the House or Senate -- or even a state office before elevating her to something like POTUS. -

Rising Cases of Bacterial Infections Linked to Flooding in Thailand
The Disease Control Department in Thailand is warning citizens about a sharp increase in bacterial infections, specifically Leptospirosis and Melioidosis, during the rainy and flood seasons. These infections pose a particular threat to children and require careful monitoring. These diseases have led to approximately 6,000 reported cases and 119 deaths in the first three quarters of this year, according to Dr. Weerawat Manosuthi. Leptospirosis can spread via animals like rats, pigs, cows, buffaloes, goats, sheep, and dogs. The bacteria can infect humans through cuts, abrasions, or skin that has been soaked in dirty water for an extended period. This year, Thailand has reported at least 2,926 cases of Leptospirosis. Interestingly, over 66% of the infected individuals are farmers who have direct contact with water and mud. Death from the disease typically results from delayed medical attention, or attempts at self-medication. People between the ages of 55-64 are the most diagnosed demographic, but children are also at risk from playing in flood waters. Parents are urged to keep a close watch on their children during the rainy season. Dr. Akkaratan Chitnuyanan, the Director of the Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health, indicates that symptoms can include high fever, headaches, muscle or joint pain, chills, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and eye irritation. Another alarming disease is Melioidosis. The bacteria responsible for it resides in soil and water and can infect humans through prolonged direct contact, consumption of contaminated food or water, or inhalation of soil dust. Around 76.7% of patients who contract Melioidosis are also farmers. From January to late September, there were 2,881 reported cases of Melioidosis, including 90 resulting in death. The Disease Control Department suggests these preventive measures: Try to stay out of water for long periods and don't wade in water and mud barefoot. Washing your body immediately after getting out of water can minimize exposure to the disease. Ensure your drinking water is clean and your food is fully cooked and fresh. Maintain cleanliness in your living area and dispose of food waste properly to prevent disease spread. If you experience prolonged symptoms like high fever, headache, or muscle pain, seek medical attention immediately to avoid any severe health complications. Using air conditioning and humidifiers together
You wake up several times a night, your mouth is dry. Maybe you have sleep apneu? Once it started with me , waking up in the morning with a very dry throat/mouth. Didnt feel like me, so to doctor, hospital and diagnosed sleep apneu, over 40 stops in a night. Sleeping in the night, had no problems, didnt wake up, but in the morning, no fun. First thing was water. But probably depending on your condition. The higher the setting of temperature of airco, the more moist. You put humidifier in room, first more moist , but airco will take it out again. You could also put a tile of water in the room, as the water will evaporate, depending on temp setting airco. That will cost you no extra energy. Maybe worth a try. Draw a line on the level of water and you can see in teh morning how much water was evaporated during the night. -
