Tour Boat Capsizes in Cheow Lan Dam in Storm: Search for Missing French Tourist
Hope they find him soon. Very sad news. I didn’t realize it was still considered monsoon season though. I thought we were in the winter season but with more rainfall as usual this time of year. Never underestimate Mother Nature. -

Need Help With Lease Problem
If I remember you are located near PKCP. I bought off Ratanakorn, PKCP and Centre Point, great location, nice area, close to everything. I've never lived in my condos, mostly had them rented. I tried to avoid the annual agent fees (1 months rent) so I would go and see the tenant personally with a lease, have it completed each year, tenant and landlord (myself). Contact the owner, make an appointment. It's high season now, finding new accommodation in good location at a reasonable price not easy. Good luck. -

Bang Lamung Police Crack Down on Drug Users and Illegal Migrants
On the evening of November 23, officers from the Bang Lamung Police Station, led by Deputy Superintendent Pol. Lt. Col. Kornpong Sukwisit, conducted a crime suppression operation in the area. The first raid targeted a makeshift shelter along the railway road in Soi Rong Po, Moo 1, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi. Police apprehended three suspects, two men and one woman, caught in the act of using methamphetamine and crystal meth. Drug paraphernalia was seized at the scene; however, the narcotics had already been consumed moments before the police arrived. In a separate operation, police arrested two Myanmar nationals in a secluded alley in the Rong Po area. The individuals were acting suspiciously, prompting an inquiry that revealed they were illegal immigrants who had entered Thailand to seek work unlawfully. The five suspects are facing legal consequences: the three Thai nationals have been charged with drug use, while the two Myanmar nationals are being processed for illegal entry and will be deported. These operations are part of an ongoing crackdown on crime in the region, aligning with national policies aimed at preventing criminal activity. The increased vigilance is particularly significant ahead of Pattaya’s International Fireworks Festival, as authorities aim to ensure the safety of tourists and residents. By addressing potential threats proactively, law enforcement hopes to maintain public order and prevent crimes during the festive season. Picture of raid. -- 2024-11-25 -
