That doesn't quite work does it?

A guy with dementia who can't walk and he still won both the popular vote and the electoral college vote......bit embarrassing.

Err he dropped out after losing the debate in the worst performance in 100 years :cheesy:

Donald Trump is probably unaware that he’s an avid practitioner of a debating method known among philosophers and rhetoricians as the Gish Gallop. Its aim is simple: to defeat one’s opponent by burying them in a torrent of incorrect, irrelevant, or idiotic arguments. Trump owes much of his political success to this tactic—and to the fact that so few people know how to beat it. Although his 2024 campaign has been fairly quiet so far, we can expect to hear a lot more Gish Galloping in the coming months.

That's exactly what he did in the first 'debate' with Biden.  Note his non-answer to the child care question, and many others.  You're so right that there needs to be strong moderators--otherwise the 'debate' is just a farce, another campaign stop for Donald to spew his lies, insults, and other assorted nonsense, no matter what the debate question is.       Should he do the same in the debate with Harris, she needs to call him out every single time and be on the offensive from the get-go, rather than defensive.   Fight fire with fire and attack what he says first, regardless if it's the debate question.  Start her answer with, "I'll answer that question if there's time but first I can't ignore the lie that the worst president in history just told.  Here's the truth . . ." .

It only goes to show that which we already knew, although his supporters seem to be oblivious to it, that he is as dumb as a bag of rocks.

And to support that, when he rounded up a few CEOs to have a meeting at the White House, the comments from them after this meeting, included, "he hasn't got a clue", "he doesn't know what he's talking about", " and the CEOs said that "he was remarkably meandering, could not keep a straight thought, was all over the map."

Dumb? Stupid or early stages of dementia.........

Tad harsh on rocks....but I see where you are coming from.

Can you provide one example of her being witty and another of her being eloquent. I have never known her to be either. Thank you

Yes. He is petrified of her. She has really gotten under his skin, already. Without even trying. He does not do well against smart and accomplished women. He hates that type of woman. She would cream him in a debate. Hope it will happen and hope he musters up the courage for it. Right now, he appears to be a real coward. Which is not surprising.

Wow. This is your observation of Kamala Harris?

He makes weird comments about politics.

He stated smart, well accomplished - she is? Of course he didn't list even one of those accomplishments. She is just an absolute, typical, blood sucking Democrat.

The only white appeal she has is to homosexuals and cat ladies.

Well, her word salad would indicate she is a blithering idiot, but she did pass the California bar which is no mean feat.

Personally, I have never seen a more uninspiring Dem candidate since perhaps Mondale or Dukakis.

No worries, there will be a medical emergency, she will step down and Hillary will step in to save the day.

The Democrats in America are like this? Gosh, that's frightening. I think the next President should be Van Helsing😳

Seems harris is scared to debate if Fox news moderates.   Questions won't be as soft balled as a CNN debate.

Go figure ... there may be no debates at all, although to honest, none really is needed.

Hypomania is a condition in which you display a revved up energy or activity level, mood or behavior. The new “energized you” is recognized by others as beyond your usual self. Hypomania is a less severe form of mania,
