Thailand's Solar Power Leap: Cutting Red Tape for Factory Roofs
It's quite a pain to get it approved. It took almost a year for MEA to get things right with me, after 10 months of waiting, they installed the wrong meter, they fined me 2,000 baht for sending electricity to the grid with wrong meter, then they realized it was wrong meter. They changed meter to the final correct one and I still lost 2000 baht 😄 TiT. 1 year later I can now sell my excess for 2.2 THB still a good deal since I break even in 4 years only. Anyways, I can only give an estimated guess: because they want to ensure safety of the solar installation since most setups will be on-grid, and the workers need a tip to do their job. Off-grid setups also need inspection, although anything over 15kW is almost always going to be on-grid. in the small town here in south some new hospital have setup a massive 300kW setup on the parking lot roof, SMART! -

Problems with submitting Tax Return
Meanwhile, a "concierge service" in Bangkok is posting scare messages about 200 thousand baht fines and jail time if you fail to file or get a tax identification number. I am very interested in staying out of jail and not incurring fines that I am unable to pay. Any advice?? -

Why are Trump supporters so unwilling to criticize even some of his policies?
Such a sad and ignorant post. Unemployment is higher now, than under Biden. And inflation is climbing too. It is of extreme importance to differentiate between people protesting against Israel's approach to this war in Gaza, and antisemitism. They are two completely different things, however Israel is an extremely thin skinned nation, and very intolerant of any sort of criticism. As a Jew I know that many Jews are thin-skinned when it comes to any sort of criticism of Israel, and it's often interpreted as being anti-semitic. I've been called a Jew hater for criticizing Israeli policy so I know how sensitive the issue can be, and it's very important to interpret it correctly. Jews and all people have the right to be critical of Israeli policy, especially now that the extremists have taken over gotten the support of a hateful PM, and are engaging in what could be called a ridiculously disproportionate campaign against the Gazans. Israel must be very careful at this point as they are losing support around the world, by the day it's gotten to the point where there are very few nations who are still supportive of Israel, and the IDF, and even the US is considering withdrawing some support. That would put them in dire straits, and very isolated. But, they deserve that, in my opinion. -

business class return flight available half price.
I have recently bought business class BKK-LHR for less than this price, and cancellation fee was only 300 GBP, I would suspect that this is some sort of Scam, as why is OP trying to sell at a bigger loss that he would take by simply cancelling the ticket? If genuine, this offer might be a bargain, depending on Airline, but why so reluctant to name the airline? -
