On August 8, at approximately 18:00 Pol. Lt. Col. Damchalouay Samkanying, Deputy Inspector of Nong Prue Police Station, received a report of a deceased individual found with a slit throat in a condominium located in Nong Prue Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi. The incident occurred in Room 819/74 on the 5th floor. Upon receiving the report, the officer immediately informed his superior, Pol. Col. Tawee Kudthalaeng, Superintendent of Nong Prue Police Station, and coordinated with Pattaya Tourist Police, forensic officers, and rescue workers from Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation to investigate the scene.

At the scene, officers found the body of a woman, approximately 20-30 years old, lying in the bathroom. The victim had suffered a severe neck wound caused by a cleaver, and blood had pooled on the bathroom floor. The authorities secured the area and collected the weapon used in the incident as evidence.

Mr. Anukul Yamdee, a 40-year-old security guard at the condominium, stated that before the incident, he heard a loud argument between a man and a woman echoing through the building. However, he could not identify the specific room. He was shocked to discover that the woman staying in the room had been found dead with her throat slit.

Friends of the deceased reported that they had been trying to contact her, but when they couldn't reach her, they, along with her foreign boyfriend, went to her condo. Unable to open the door, they called a locksmith. Upon entering the room, they were horrified to find her lifeless body in the bathroom, lying in a pool of blood. They immediately alerted the police.

Pol. Col. Tawee Kudthalaeng coordinated with forensic officers from Chonburi Province to assist in the investigation. The body of the deceased has been sent for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. The investigation is ongoing.

Sad tale, looks like an attractive young lady.

I hope the guy wasn't on a plane already and they catch him soon.

Update

Thai media are reporting that the victim is a Lao woman. The woman reportedly chased her Chinese husband/boyfriend out of the room, claiming that a ghost was following her and attempting to kill her. She was later found dead in the condo, having been brutally stabbed, with her throat slit.

Police have detained the Chinese husband/boyfriend for intense questioning. Preliminary investigations reveal that he has been living illegally in Thailand for over four years.

yes,  the cops will act quickly to catch the murderer.

Pure speculation: She had a farang boyfriend, but unbeknown to him, she also had a Thai bf or husband, who showed up in a jealous rage...

RIP

From the investigation, police examined physical evidence, including latent fingerprints found at the scene.

The evidence suggests that the victim, from Laos and identified as ‘Namfon’ likely inflicted the injuries on herself. According to the investigation, this tragic act appears to have been driven by hallucinations caused by drug use.

Police found yaba and ketamine all over Lao woman's room, and believe she was going crazy from the drugs, before cutting her own throat.

The authorities are continuing their investigation to confirm the details and circumstances leading to the woman’s death.

If you thought a ghost was chasing you, trying to kill you, would you then stab yourself and slit your own throat?

Someone reported that she chased her boyfriend out of the condo.

"He was shocked to discover that the woman staying in the room had been found dead with her throat slit.

Cause of death: "SLIT THROAT"?

I wonder what the cause of death was? Need an autopsy to be sure it wasn't suicide.

yeah, right....

Ketamine is one of the strangest things I've ever known. It's psychosis on its own, even without the meth to top it up.

Fantastic anaesthetic properties so at least she probably didn't feel much in way of physical pain.

How about that farang that almost had his head cut off after he had just bought a house in his wifes name...And his body was still holding the knife.....

And what was the ruling?

What else but Suicide....

The farang almost cut his own head off with a kitchen knife....

She had a deep cut to her neck and was holding a kitchen knife in her right hand. Another knife was found in the sink.

Suspicious footprints

There were large bloody footprints, which appeared to belong to another person, in front of the bathroom
