What’s your favorite beach in Phuket that’s not overrun with tourists?

  1. Ao Sane Beach -  near Nai Harn, perfect for snorkelling and relaxation.
  2. Laem Ka Beach - A small, peaceful beach on the east coast, great for a quiet day out.
  3. Banana Beach - Tucked away between Bang Tao and Nai Thon.
  4. Freedom Beach - Accessible by boat or a hike, this secluded spot has crystal-clear waters and fewer tourists.
  5. Yanui Beach - A small, charming beach near Promthep Cape, popular with locals for its tranquillity.

I don't think there is one that is not overrun.  Way too crowded last time there, and off season.  Last time, was the last time we'll be visiting, till the next pandemic ... hopefully soon :coffee1:

Like Kamala Beach, and last week supposedly ... not too bad at all ...

My favourite beach in Phuket is not on the west coast. Thankfully its in an area where most tourists don't really go anyway. One of the last beaches where you can relax and enjoy some peace and quiet and calm water.

guess u never visited kamala, Surin or Bang Tao during high season

Layan is the only one ( NOT weekends)  that gets very very few tourists as there is NOTHING for them but the beach an Sea

NO shops
NO restaurants
NO Massage

Yes, plenty of surf & sand if just looking.  North of the popular one, and vendors nearby.  Anywhere north of Bang Tao beach.  Been to most of them, very nice.  Having transport helps, and or staying nearby.

Swim at you own risk though, if going in.   Can even do some plane spotting ...

... and yes, even Phuket has a bit of a smog problem in February, when photo was taken.   That is not a moisture haze.  That hill in background should be crystal clear.
