I've often thought the same thing when I see the large ladies. I was recently in the US and portion sizes are enormous. Places like Costco are one of the reasons. Everything comes in a giant package which is much cheaper but also means you eat more of it.

Clothes sizes have changed to make people feel better. I used to be an XL and am now an L size in shirts. 

The OP obviously started this thread for a bit of fun.

Why am i not surprised that lots of members have used this to tell the rest of their,"im alright Jack" lifestyle?

Lighten up for Christs sake,unless you are American of course and find this impossible to do.

We all have a great life here,that's why we live here.

I liked the Woodstock comparison to today.   I am shocked and dismayed at the obesity I see in my life.  Sometimes the obese children or adults I see causes me real grief. 

I went to a baseball game this summer and they only sell junk food.   My analysis of the situation is that many of these fat people came to the ball game because it's open air, large seats, it's not crowded so you could move to sit with space between you and the next people.   But most importantly there is all this junk food and everyone is eating it like pigs so you don't feel bad.   In fact looking around a fit person feels out of place.  It was shocking.  The future health care costs are going to be staggering. 

I bet Thailand 10-20 years ago was amazing.  But so many chubby gals now. In fact I don't know how some of these gals on soi cowboy can earn a living.  Must be some gents that tip them.

20 years ago a land whale was a rarity, though Thailand had a competition for fatties ( forget the name ). I doubt it exists now as so many are walking blubber balls.

 

Never underestimate the desire of men for a niche category, and bonking fat burds is probably the least bizzare.

20-25 years ago was a different place. Very few large women and nobody had their head in a phone. 
Dunno about all western big girls being tatted up with weird hair, but when I was back recently there were some absolute stunning women out and about, even for my naff little town.. It’s the general attitude I don’t care for much, esp older farang ladies. On that note, kind of ironic that this thread is probably coming from ancient, balding crusty massive old dudes that couldn’t even bag one of these mommas on their own turf. 😀

The arrogance of the man stood out to me but Jesse had him running scared.This type of "man" are a completely different species to the ones i grew up with.

There is a simple reason:

 

If you are ugly then you have no chance to be beautiful, but you do have a chance to catch looks by being "interesting". 

 

Hence the piercings, tattoos and coloured hair.

I am 75,bald head,wrinkles,need help getting it up and had to stop playing football.

It's just that US ladies are much fatter,much,much fatter,especially the black ones.

Over 50%of the women in the West are overweight.

On average 30% of those are obese but guys are not so far behind.

 

What makes me sad in Australia, is seeing so many teenagers of both sexes obviously on the road to becoming beached whales.

 

In my GF's village, I hardly see any fat Thais.

 

My GF's grandchildren are slim. Once a year, I take them to KFC as a treat, and to show them what happens to people who eat there all the time.

I Agree, Vietnamese chicks are beautiful, but I prefer Thai chicks. 

 

I worked Vung Tau for a few years, I was seeing a lovely girl, I miss her, fun girl. 

 

The girls seemed a little bit taller and breasts a little bit bigger. 

And trout pouts that went wrong plus all the bad points

When it's the guys paying, they get to choose and it doesn't have to be someone that looks like them. When the women get to pay, then they can decide for themselves.

No way I'm paying to have some ugly fat woman in my bed, even if that's how I look.
