  • The real question is whether Trump should pardon Biden when the new DOJ rejects the recommendations of the Hur report.  And there's no Dem controlled senate standing firmly in the way of impeachment.

  • Why would Trump need a pardon, or even a commutation of sentence (jail) since not sentences for anything yet, and doubtful jail time will be in any sentence.  If so, on indefinite appeal till it gets

  • The Jan 6 insurrection, fake electors, and theft of top secret documents are all serious criminal matters.   I suppose you are confirming how screwed up the American legal system is. In many

Presidential pardons are a travesty of justice. Who get pardoned? The rich, the famous, the related, and most perniciously, politicians.

Believe it or not the first 'terrorists' to attack the Senate Building were two Democrats. They set off some bombs or something. Clinton pardoned them.  I reckon that if Trump wins all the 'political prisoners' of Jan6 will be pardoned day 1 - followed by quite a few others.

You are suggesting pardoning him as you think his more extreme followers would cause mass civil unrest but how about pardoning him because the charges against him were all politically motivated?

You are in the minority as majority of Americans believe the prosecution was about upholding the rule of law and not politically motivated.

I would prefer congress to pardon Trump when he is elected. Nothing to do for Harris.

Congress does not have that power. If they did, MTG and friends would have already tried it.

All of his limbs.

NO. I want Trump to admit his crimes, withdraw  from the election,  change all his false pleas of innocence to guilty and then throw himself on the mercy of the courts. If she wants to commute his federal sentences to time served in 2028 that would be her choice.

There is NO excuse for, nor pardoning of, this abhorrent maniac. Almost 10 years of this a-hole is 11 years too many. And he wasn't any better before 2015. :coffee1:

Bash the convicted felon. Give me a break.
