Not reading things seems to be a MAGA thing that even extends to Trump.  Couldn't be anything important, or anything Trump would understand, in intel briefings, now could there?

i can read it, but it will be 90% unverified, anonymous sources or hearsay or opinion.

very rarely is there an un edited, in context direct quote from Trump.

There may be other reason why Trump doesn't read briefings:

As you said yourself, "most people do care, the only ones who don't are cultists". That is by definition a binary.

Now, you are right that there are fringe idiots on both sides. No question. But there are ALSO reasonable people on both sides- people who can have good faith disagreements over policy and the direction of the country. That sounds a lot different from your first position.

As to those who used to serve under Trump and now are recanting, that is possibly one of the strongest arguments the Democrats have. To answer, I would say the following. Some are disgruntled Washington insiders who did not like being sidelined. Some are doing it for attention- a former GOP loyalist gets lots of gigs on TV and in the media. Some got fired and are butt-hurt. And some are indeed doing it out of principle.  Again, there are a variety of reasons.

Not sure of what damage Trump did to the US that you allude to. As far as I can remember, the economy was humming along in the pre-covid days. No new wars started. Factory jobs were coming back.  What is the damage you speak of?

My position hasn't changed. If Trump follows are post bs then I call it out because much of what's posted is just that. No facts just distorted information taken out of context to make there argument.

As for your statement on the over 100 previous staffers and appointees being who did not like being sideline. Show something to support that. Yeah there may be a few but when the majority all tell the same story kinda hard to say they are just disgruntled.

His refusal to take daily security briefings esoecially on sensitive issues and only watching fox news to get his information.

Yeah the economy was humming but not from Trump, it was the follow on from the previous presidency. It takes months to affect anything in the economy significantly.

What wars did Biden start?  If I recall correctly Trump pulled troops from Afghanistan against the recommendation of the military and didn't negotiate with the govt but instead with the talisman leaving remaining troops and supports exposed but then trumpettes want to blame Biden for Trump stupidity. His military advisors had no confidence in him to the point of ignoring his requests and issuing directive to not just follow any plans he made concerning nuclear weapon use.

Trump damaged relationships with almost every international agency the US is affiliated with, pick one and check the facts. He also alienated the foreign govt officials with his arrogance and physical confrontation grabbing their hands and talking them in a show of force.  It was all recorded in the news with video showing him. His blatant fighting and threats to North Korea followed by love letters to Kim.

The manner in which he handled the covid response was pathetic. He clearly knew the dangers as China called him at the very beginning of the outbreak and told him about it and he ignored every bit if information he had at hand.

His constant vulgar venomous verbal attacks at anyone the opposes him, including his advisors that he hand picked and any opponent in front if him.

His illegal activities in finance and secret document handling and womanizing and sexual assault in his private life.

His mis-handling of protestors and marchers.

I can go on and on but no point its all available on line to look up.

So you think he is morally fit to represent the USA.

And you wanted me to provide you with fact links to back up my comments yet you continue to read what is provided to you. There are plenty if unedited fact check Trump comment, positions and direct staff statements to support his actions. You just choose to ignore them with merit even though you don't bother to read them first. Pathetic

Don't bother.

Facts are anathema to felonistas. If the felon pulled it straight from where the sun doesn't shine, it's fragrant to them.

Remember the core tenets of the cult:

"Alternative facts"----Kellyanne Conway

"Truth isn't truth"---Rudy Giuliani

the career politicians, establishment figures, same old warmongers claim he is unsuitable  for high office, yet Biden was and Harris is?

you don't think it's possibly due to him upsetting the apple cart and not keeping their 'norms' in place.

people voted for him for 'change' at least people actually vote for him unlike Harris the selected one.

So we should vote in the hard left.

I think not.
