You missed out a couple of other "interested parties", in particular the health"insurance" and pharmaceutical industries. Together they will expect and receive the demise of any real attempt to provide a "non profit" health system.

I've mentioned it a few times in other threads.

 

The word democracy is practically meaningless.

Maybe oligarchy or plutocracy is more accurate.

Maybe it was decided that Trump would be figurehead a few years ago and the elections were just a show.

 

But that doesn't mean every decision they make is BAD for everyone.

It doesn't mean they always only think about themselves and don't care about the lower classes at all.

 

Also, they need people to be working and productive in order to maintain their billionaire status. 

 

But it doesn't mean you will agree with everything they're doing.
