Back on topic, Trump did nothing. He imposed no tariffs (because he's not president) and Mexico's president agreed to nothing. In fact, she said if Trump does impose tariffs, Mexico will retaliate with their own tariffs. And, the border is not closed in any way, not even "effectively closed". Once again, Trump's alternate reality building is hard at work, but the rest of the world is not likely to play along.

As for closing borders he's talking bs,  like so many on this forum. Mexico never agreed to anything he claims and he legally can't negotiate anything with other countries as he isn't in office and there are laws prohibiting dual government operation.
