  • The topic isn't about which one you remember, but those you watch over and over again

  • I watch all of the movies I quoted on a fairly regular basis (other than DDD). A Christmas Carol is obviously seasonal but every version from the 1930's onwards will be on TV sometime over the Christm

Once upon time in America

Aliens

The sting

The good, the bad and the ugly

Ferries Bueller's day off

It depends on my mood but the go to action movies are John Wick/ Jack Reacher/LOTR/Maverick. For something more chilled the Big Lebowski. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is one of my favourite films, but I can't watch it that much anymore as I need to be high to get the best experience.

Heat

School of Rock

Never pass these 2 by - at least back in the cable, scrolling-through-the-channels days.

Top 4 for sure

Never watched a movie twice......I find the whole notion very strange.

Funny you should open this thread, the wife had the radio today, on and for some reason they played a piece of Enio Morricone's,  ,The Good Bad and the Ugley, and I said I must watch that film  again, been a while, still love it, then of cause it will have to  be, A Fist Full of Doller's ,and a Few Doller's More.

Casablanca for me has to be top of my list, followed by To Kill a Mockingbird, then Shawshank Redemption, the Godfather trilogy and of course any film which Maggie Smith was in.

Godfather 1 and 2.  Sand Pebbles.  Angels with Dirty Faces.  Goodfellas.  Casino.

yeah, all the mobster movies are fun to watch.

but the sopranos and boardwalk empire might even be better than the movies because TV shows have more time to develop the characters.

Chinatown

Airplane!

Doctor Strangelove (or how I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb)

Just downloaded Terminator 2, as I'll be out of current TV series soon.  Probably watched it about 5 times, so I may FF pass a few spots.

Radio days

1987

Narrator: I never forgot that New Year's Eve when Aunt Bea awakened me to watch 1944 come in. I've never forgotten any of those people or any of the voices we would hear on the radio. Though the truth is, with the passing of each New Year's Eve, those voices do seem to grow dimmer and dimmer.

Shot in the dark with Peter sellers is not bad
