dear Rusky,  don't get into a fight when drunk, you can't win.  Thais will always fight 3 or more on one.

Wonder what would happen if it was a foreigner in Russia did this.  !

Its very simple

any foreigners in somebody else’s country , put them on a plane ,  actually a ship , very slow ship home

and never give them a visa again.

Unfortunately some people seem to almost beg for the thug treatment....and then complain when they get it. Act like a civilized human being and you will receive reciprocal treatment.

I was always trained to use the minimum force required to get the job done. That picture suggests exactly the opposite.

Make 'em walk - I don't want to be sat next to a character like that on a plane for 12 hours.

".......the guards reported minor injuries, including bruised knuckles and a torn shirt."

Ahh diddums, I bet the shirt felt no pain!

"......... parties were taken to Patong Hospital. While Kozlov received treatment for his injuries, the security guards underwent medical evaluations to confirm their claims of harm,..........."

And to confirm their claims of compensation?

You did right by putting in the inverted commas - they ar thugs  - pure and simple, but it sounds like the Russky deserved his comeuppance - "You wanted 'em - now you got 'em!"

No sir, they were doing their jobs, which is to kick anyone's ass who dares to punch them or hit them...same for any country.  FAFO!

So, now that we know security in this country is not to be messed with, maybe some folks will behave, but alcohol proves me wrong everytime.  FAFO!

We don't know what force the drunk big burly Russian started to use, why should the Thai security staff risk injury by using minimum force, their country, their rules so they made sure he was put down quickly, that's my take on it, he refused to leave when asked so now he's in hospital. hopefully with a big hospital bill at the end. Maybe Ukraine seems like a good option now.

Mind your manners wherever you go..But then alcohol is the devil 🙂

I've read that Bangla means "broken jaw" in Thai.

Well, he won't do that again

send him back to puti. he will take care of him
