My GF is 33 years younger than me, and the spare is 30 years younger.

Yes, but it is not discussed very often and I would never cause the 'missus' to lose face. The circumstances are a little unusual in that we currently spend more time apart than together.

Depends if you are wrong place wrong time but yes you are minimised your risk by not going out late at night.

And by that I mean farangs who are drunk ,you accidentally bump into them , you look at them the wrong way etc 

So I'm walking down walking street you bump into me, it starts so easy 

 

The worse offenders are East Europeans males when they are drunk

Yes dangers can be avoided by avoiding some areas, although I would not use the USA as a yardstick....

I agree it is minimal here, and I have not had serious issue in many years, and i do go to some of those areas......but I have certainly seen it kick off or have the potential to.

Well I'm in such adamant disagreement with you and I know dozens and dozens of single men who are successful and have game and have a ridiculously hard time with American women. They seem to be some of the least adventurous people on the planet when it comes to romance these days. Plus, in the big cities the fear factor is very high. I think it has  been difficult for many years but I think covid made it much harder. Granted, if you're in a small town your chances are better, in a big city it's barely worth even making an effort.

I have been in Pattaya many times in the last 20 years, admittedly not in the early hours and only in the bars an occasional time like going up on stage with the band to play bass guitar and sing. I have been through all the red light areas, spoke to many farangs and even the ladies of ill repute. I have never had any problems with anyone, came anywhere near fights or even been threatened with any violence. But then I don't drink.

I could never say that about Glasgow or any other city in the UK.
