Frustrated with Thai Immigration - 90 day online report frustrations

Featured Replies

I hope I dont sound too dumb here...again, as its probably been answered somewhere here , but after reading several pages I could not see it. How much does the online 90 day report cost? vs a reputable agent in Pattaya? Any Pattaya agent recommendations are appreciated. Thank you.

Why on earth would you do that if you know your window is 15-7 days before and the 90day ends 10-Jan? Makes no sense. Stick to the window.

  • Entertaining to read about people coming here to complain about their mistakes.

  • Agents are for the lazy, the clueless and those without the needed funds. Anyone can call themselves an agent, totally unregulated with no accountability. Almost parasites.

Plenty of good agents in Pattaya.

Would would need to check if they offer 90 day reporting service as a stand alone or only for their customers they assist with extensions.

DIY is free.

Maneerat will do for 100 baht.

I was going to post same agent.

I'm aware it's 100b however thinking that is for clients that they do the extensions for.

Not the case?

They did my extension too but it wasn't mentioned recently when I went in to request they do my 90 day report.  Maybe they remembered my face from 7 months ago, but it seems more likely to me that anybody could walk in and request it.

I wait with bated breath to see if the postal application works.  Fingers crossed!  Maybe the IO being able to see the paperwork, including the last entry stamp, will swing it.  Either that or it definitely IS in person only now.

Quick update on this.  Received my 90 day receipt approved today 3 Feb from CW following a postal application sent on 21 Dec, (first report after re-entering Thailand, the online report having been rejected) having been approved 3 Jan.

So in this case at least, doing a first report after entering Thailand online will be rejected (saying you need to attend in person) but a postal application WILL be accepted.  Of course, saying that will apply in every case at every office is a different matter entirely!
