Typical display of ignorance. After the Inspector General of the Justice Dept did an investigation and found political prejudice played no part in the Justice Dept's investigation of Trump, both William Barr, the Attorny General, and John Durham publicly released statements in writing that showed they didn't accept the IG's conclusion. The 2 of them spent a couple of years trying to prove otherwise. Barr and Durham even met weekly. Barr actually accompanied Durham to Italy to put pressure  on Italian intelligence agencies to dig up dirt. (All that got them was some info that suggested that Trump may have been involved with organized crime.)  The only 2 cases that Durham managed to come up on his own with were charges that 2 persons had lied to the FBI. In other words, the FBI may have been duped according to Durham (and Barr), but there was no malign intent on their part. As for the 2 people Durham prosecuted, they were both acquitted in what most legal experts called  a case based on remarkably flimsy evidence.
