  • When you get very old you can re-watch stuff from a month ago and have no idea that you have seen it before.

Has anyone watched the whole 14 series of Supernatural?

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0460681/

It's got a good rating, never even heard of it till I saw a vid on TikTok

Worth starting series 1 ?

Wouldn't it just be best to watch episode 1 yourself and make your own mind up?

I enjoyed the whole series.   Gets better as it progresses.  Worth watching since not much of interest now except the repetitive cop / detective shows.

Watched a few series, then got bored of it. Will see the last serie (S15) I think in the near future ...

I noticed a recommendation on a reddit sub - Maybe I missed this at the time, but it seems familiar - very slow, seems quite dated, 2016 - The night of

Something new, a Danish mini series, Secrets We Keep

There are two two-part specials for 24 hours .. first out now, second next Monday - The Butcher of Suburbia and Nightclub predator

I thought Smoke got better in e02

The waterfront anyone?

Worked my way through all 7 seasons of MadMen and now through all 4 seasons of Succession. Got to say they both lived up to the hype, both hugely entertaining.

Thanks for the heads up @KhunLA. I'll have a look at The Ballerina.

Gratuitous body count, of course, which does get old after a while.  Just an OK time killer, unless John Wick style is your thing.  Small screen time of Reeves, and OK story line.

Things get 'hot' which was a nice, different ways (ka-boom) on killing people, changing things up a bit helped.   Obvious sequel in the future .. cha ching.

I have been watching ‘Murder 24/7’ recently - British series, very interesting (and well done) IMO, especially when compared to its American counterpart, if you will, ‘The First 48’ in how murder investigations are conducted.

“Murder 24/7 is a true crime documentary series that follows real-life murder investigations in real time. The show provides an inside look at the work of detectives and forensic experts as they conduct their investigations, review CCTV footage, question witnesses, and gather evidence. The series has been praised for its realistic portrayal of the investigative process and the stresses involved in homicide policing.”

Why Don't You Just Die is an outstanding movie, 2018. I can't give away the plot. Subtitled. Give it a go.

Came across these two which I can't believe I missed. Big fan of Crocodile Dundee when I was a kid 😂

This one very much in the style of the first two. A few good un-PC jokes. Breath of fresh air.

This one's a bit cringe. Only for the die hard fans. Could only find it on FlixHQ. All torrents are dead for some reason.

Thanks. Watched it last night & enjoyed it.

Watched F1: The Movie last night — surprisingly decent CAM version.

Really enjoyed it. Brought back memories of the F1 city track races I was lucky enough to watch every year for a decade — all from the comfort of my office window.

I’ll definitely watch it again on a bigger screen once a proper 1080p release is out, for a more immersive experience.

IMAX would do it full justice.

Yer very well acted -----

Started on the UK Outrageous Series and I'm enjoying it very much.  Set in the 1930's. Shades of today's USA.

Outrageous (TV series) - Wikipedia

"Dramatizing one of Britain's most controversial families with slick presentation and superb acting, Outrageous is an engaging glimpse into the corrosive lure of fascism."

I watched a very old movie last night, which I don't recall watching before, called, "The Battle of the River Plate" and although it was typical of movies made in the 1950s with regard to the "sets" it was still very enjoyable.

It was a great movie and I remember it very well, as a young lad I was so taken with it I remember even buying a model kit of the Graf Spee

I think the title was changed to Pursuit of the Graf Spee

In 1959, I can remember my first-year high class teacher taking the class to the movies to watch it.
It was the first major naval battle of World War II and was a popular school excursion topic for history and geography in UK Aust and NZ.

Just finished Attack on London: Hunting the 7/7 Bombers.  Very interesting series.  I forgot that there was a second attempt on July 21 Currently on Netflix.

I thought that, last 1/3, was the best part.  Killing folks a wee bit different.  Just fast forward to the part where she finds and goes into the town where the 'cult' live.  Also brings the plotline together, and explains a lot of the previous scenes / conversations.
