Like the last Alien movie, a total disappointment.

Not sure on your point.

No point, just a bit of info, incase anyone bored, out of things to watch, and want to watch the previous releases while downloaded the new series, maybe in full, before watching.  Plenty to keep one busy while rest of the series is released, as only 8 eps.

Best line from all of them ... "Earth, man. What a sh!thole"

Be interested to see other opinions on the new Alien: Earth series.

Trailer looks interesting, and all of them had some entertainment value.  Downloaded first 2 eps, but didn't watch.  Will wait till season is over to watch all at once.

Some mentioned 'The Twelve', thanks, and S1 was OK, so I'll probably download S2 today & watch.

I’m really enjoying Alien Earth, thanks to @Will27. Funnily, when I noticed the mixed-race casting, my first thought was the series wouldn’t be to everyone’s liking. But the classification was TV-MA — for mature adults — which should have been a clue for some to give it a miss.

The Alien chronological order is :

  1. Alien vs. Predator — present day

  2. Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem — immediately after AVP

  3. Prometheus — 2093

  4. Alien: Covenant — 2104

  5. Alien: Earth — 2120 (two years before the original Alien)

  6. Alien — 2122

  7. Alien: Romulus — 2142

  8. Aliens — 2179

  9. Alien 3 — 2179 (shortly after Aliens)

  10. Alien: Resurrection — 2381

It was OK, special effects good, plot not so good.

Haven't seen the latest one yet but from the ones I have seen --- Prometheus---was outstanding.

I came across a golden oldie on BBC iPlayer last night, called, "In The Heat of the Night" so decided to watch it and was pleased that I did because it was so long ago that I had seen the original, I had forgotten most of it!

For those that didn't know, it starred Sidney Poitier and Rod Steiger, amongst others and unfortunately, for me some of the aspects of it mirrored some of what is currently going on in the USA.

In Flight.............. Crime/Thriller CH 4  UK......6 episode 4 now out  IMDB  6.6/10

Has this been posted before---if so apologies...released 12 /8/25  I find it quite a good watch

Blurb--Jo Conran's son is imprisoned for a murder he denies. A gang blackmails her into smuggling, pushing her into a world of corruption and violence to save her child's life.

Enjoyed after the flood and chasing shadows.

Now watching stranger things, 4 seasons out with season 5 later this year.

Last night I finished watching season 1 of The Waterfront and enjoyed it. Recommended by a mate of mine and also recommended by @gargamon and mentioned by a few others earlier in this topic.  Its on TheRARBG.

Have now watched two episodes of Alien Earth

Children's minds put into adult bodies,    highly trained military personnel fumbling around like amateurs and what ever is this re incarnated girl doing running around with a samurai sword thing on her back?

They seem to have totally lost the Alien plot line that worked so well maybe it gets better....

I'm an Eric Bana fan.
Out this week.

Eric Bana stars as a special agent for the National Parks Service whose murder investigation sends him on a collision course with the dark secrets within the park, and in his own past.

Thanks for the recommendation. I just finished watching it. I enjoyed the story and the scenery of Yosemite national park.

Does anyone watch Boxing--- The site I used isn't so good,

I can stream easy, but the timing is not the greatest when you live in Thailand, so  I was looking for a site that still shows (a day or less ) after the fight.  YouTube isn't an option, and as far as fire stick / or box etc . they all show in real time, but dont hold on to it.

Is anyone on the sites you pay monthly for NZ Mega RapidRar etc I know you can go back and download movies and TV shows from way back---do they do the same for sports.

Murder Case: The Vanishing Cyclist

Produced by the BBS Scotland, Murder Case is one of my favourites shows.

This 2 Parter is well worth a look.

Does the BBC do anything else other than crime dramas? I'm so tired of them I don't even consider them any more.

They do make a lot but much preferred to their current favourite the reality show !!

Shows like Destination X, Laugh out Loud or Traitors are pure garbage and really scraping the barrel looking for something new imho.

Does anyone know where I can find the full series of Spooks (MI5) for download?

I already have it in SD, but I'm looking for it in at least 720p

If anyone has a link I'd really appreciate it

TIA

Tpb has it. It's 4x3, not widescreen, but I guess that's because it's from 2002. I reecncoded it to mkv to shrink the size to keep a copy.

Yeah I know it's on TPB and I've downloaded it from there to check the quality. Unfortunately it's not very good and in SD. Thanks anyway I'll have to keep looking

It's in torrent day. Supposedly 1080p. I'm DLing it now and may update my copy. Private site, you'd need an invite but I don't have any.

Especially when they're set in Scotland, making sub-titles an absolute necessity.

There's a full 10 season pack 1080p, about 1GB per episode. It is1080p.

There's season packs, about 4GB per episode, also is 1080p.

Freeleech for all but you need to keep seeding for 3 days or they'll get irritated.
