Blue Lights....

Crime/Drama--  BBC 6 episodes all out.  This is the third season released today. There was a lot of  violence  in the first 2 seasons. N Ireland (Belfast) police are the only police in the UK that carry guns.

Blue Lights is a Northern Irish police procedural television drama series set in the present day and based at the fictional Blackthorn police station in Belfast.

I've just finished season 1 of Berlin Station and thought it was very good. I've just started season 2 and have season 3 to watch after that. It was recommended by @LosLobo earlier in this topic. Seasons 1 & 2 are on TPB and season 3 is on Limetorrents.

Thanks for the heads up @oxo1947. I watched season 1 of Blue Lights and enjoyed it, but seem to have missed out on season 2. Complete season 2 pack is on LimeTorrents and TPB, complete season 3 pack is on Limetorrents and TheRARBG. and possibly other sites.

1). Watched "Annihilation" (again) with Natalie Portman and still found it intriguing and the ending is still a mystery (to me anyway!).

2). Also watched the movie "Old Henry" which has one hell of a twist in it towards the end. If you haven't seen it, then I can recommend it.....not a big budget western, but IMO worth a watch.

Also have just downloaded "Black Rabbit" and that is next up starting tomorrow.

No, it was good enough, Tulsa King has got a bit silly though.

Have just finished season 3 of Berlin Station, excellent but annoyed that they are not making a 4th season after the ending of season 3

Haven't got to season 3 yet, still on season 2.

Complete season 1 pack of Lynley is now on TheRARBG and TPB (and possibly other sites)

If this is Inspector Lynley you're talking about, we've just been watching season 1.  If you like panoramas of rolling Yorkshire hills, and endless glimpses of grim stone houses, you might enjoy it.  But it is glacially slow and whenever "romance" shows its fatal presence (Lynley can't seem to move on from his  youthful one-and-only relationship) it gets irritating in the extreme. (And adds ZERO to the narrative of individual episodes.)

Just get on with solving the bleeding murder, mate, preferably in one hour rather than the 90 minutes we are meant to wade through.

A reboot of an equally dull 6 seasons worth of endless comparisons between aristocratic Inspector Thomas Linley and his working class assistant Sergeant Barbara Havers.

Someone somewhere thought it worth remaking, I’m not sure I would agree.

@blazes  There is a link in my post you quoted, that's the series that I'm talking about.

It was mentioned by others and I'm just stating where it can be found. I haven't watched it so I can't comment on it.

They just do not seem to make crime movies like they did in the 90s/early 2000s--- do not know why that is.

The quality of all movies, not just crime has been poor this past decade or so IMO.

I'd be lucky to watch 4 or 5 a year.

Quality TV has gone way past movies.

I quite liked it. Female lead was a bit fat though.

I guess this  would be described as a crime caper movie, which is not in the least bit funny, the dialogue is cringe-worthy.
