Anyone who cannot watch a movie or TV series except thro a political lens has some serious issues in their life. The rest of us can also enjoy the latest South Park series 🙂

Anyone that insists on dragging politics into a movie thread has some serious issues in their life. The rest of us can just attempt to enjoy the reviews 🙂

What Movies or TV shows are you watching?

No thanks, as saw a snippet from it once, looked stupid.  Reality TV is the dumbest thing I ever heard of, as it's anything but.  People that watch that need to get a life.

If you really saw a snippet, you would have realised that it's a movie not Reality TV.

I'm trying to get through "Black Rabbit" but it's gotten so ridiculous it's thought to get back to.

I figured that out, after looking at the photo, and noticing, not Trump, but a movie about him.  Why would I want to watch a movie about someone (TV celebrity) I really don't care about.   I wouldn't watch a documentary about him, let alone, a probable hit piece.   His life is pretty much an open book (and boring as hell) for anyone who cares about such things.   I get Trump 24/7 on AN, FB, YT.

On topic, as always ... I'm waiting for Constantine 2

You don't have to watch it.

It's not hard.

Never happen.  Enough that I regret watching most of the stuff I start watching before deleting, that I thought might pass the time.  I think I finish <5% of the torrents I download.

Most things they're putting out today, I can't get past the trailer.

And some pay to watch this crap :cheesy:

I was basically talking about the Spitting Image clip.

If it doesn't interest me, I just don't open it.

'His life is pretty much an open book' — his tight grip on the Epstein files would suggest otherwise.

AIS Play has a 999B NFL package. Not every game but every time table.

I see that they have on schedule the NBA as well.

Not sure if I will see a new charge for it considering it is a different sport.

https://fmhy.net/video#live-tv  Is a way to watch free.

Sorry if it does not fall into a movie referal but maybe this is helpful

Updated that the NBA is available with the package. Go Warriors

I got through it but it's probably not a good sign that I found myself almost rooting for the two loan shark guys.

What is with shows/movies where all the main characters are a-holes, AND stupid?

I thought "Black Rabbit" was pretty good on the whole, although there were times when I didn't realise that there were flashbacks intertwined with the story, which made it a little confusing for me – – for example in episode seven it started with an attractive blonde woman being beaten up by a guy, and I had no idea who it was, or for that matter who the young boy was who "helped" her out.

The couple of twists at the end overall probably made it a worthwhile series to watch.

Also managed to find a movie made in 1971 which was of interest to me, on BBC iPlayer, and the movie was, "Mary Queen of Scots" and starred Glenda Jackson, Vanessa Redgrave, Patrick McGoohan and Ian Holm amongst others......an all-star cast no less!

I enjoyed it as I do others of this ilk and have already seen the 2015 movie with Margot Robbie, so was interested to see what this one had to offer, and I wasn't disappointed.

Just over half way on this and loving it, very graphic and according to some reviews not strictly factual but keeping my attention !

I don’t mind the fantasy scenarios, his dead mother talking to him and the Nazi stuff, but find the constant return to Hitchcock, Anthony Perkins, Psycho and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre etc a little unnecessary and padded out the series by a couple of episodes.

But all in all a very interesting and well done gory series, will probably follow it up with a documentary to brush up on the facts.

Something like this:

Apparently this Monster: The Ed Gein story is part three of a Netflix Anthology series, have seen the Dahmer one i think but will search for the Menendez Story and look forward to Lizzie Borden.

Seasons:

 1. Season 1: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story (2022)
This inaugural season delves into the crimes of Jeffrey Dahmer, perhaps the most infamous serial killer in recent American history.
 2. Season 2: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story (2024)
The second season follows the Menendez brothers, who murdered their parents in 1989, exploring familial abuse, fame, and the legal aftermath.
 3. Season 3: The Ed Gein Story (2025)
Released October 3, 2025, this season dramatizes the life of Ed Gein — murderer, grave-robber, and suspected serial killer whose crimes inspired many horror tropes and films. Charlie Hunnam stars as Gein. The season also includes depictions of Alfred Hitchcock (Tom Hollander) and explores how Gein’s crimes resonated through pop culture.
 4. Upcoming Season 4: Lizzie Borden
A season about Lizzie Borden is under development.

Plenty of subjects to choose from !!

Great film, and Mary wasn't played by a black actress.

I'm liking it, especially since it's filmed where I grew up.

Finished The Hack - excellent a few awards coming up there, Tennant for sure?

Mrs Sidhu Investigates, only 4 episodes before it was ditched but quite watchable.

Watched the movie "The Krays" with the Kemp brothers and although it was good I don't think it was as good as the more recent movie "Legend" about the Krays and starring Tom Hardy. Enjoyable all the same.

Started last month and 4 eps out already
