January 18, 20251 yr I am wondering if someone has experienced something similar. I went to the Facino near second road/Walking St and asked for the Sidegra. The lady asked if I was a member and i said no. In response, she went to speak with someone on the back and then came out and half-heartedly pretended to look for it and then said we are out of stock. I know the drawer where they are kept because i was there the previous day and I could see that they had a lot in stock. She didn't even open the drawer. They were very willing to sell it to me the previous day and did not ask if i was a "member". Has this happened to anyone? Being asked if you are a member and then just refusing to sell it to you (if not)? What is the deal?
January 18, 20251 yr Popular Post The deal is that officially prescription is needed for this drug.. I quess they are thinking that if you are member with long record you are less risk for them selling Sidegra without prescription.. Fascino is chain not some mum and pop shop..
January 18, 20251 yr Might be something going on, Medisafe were very cagey with me when i enquired about Cialis generics, no have, even though people are ordering

So get a membership card, I seem to recall that it took about 5 minutes in the same shop you mention back in 2020.

January 19, 20251 yr Popular Post Also note that the regular staff in those places are NOT licensed pharmacists and are NOT allowed to sell prescription drugs over the counter. Even if the pharmacy sells those drugs without a prescription. I take a tablet a day (Miracid) to control stomach acid and go to the Fascino near me every couple of weeks to get another couple of boxes. No prescription - but they won't sell it to me unless the pharmacist is there. If (she - it's always a she) is there they'll sell me as much as I want. (It was prescribed to me at the hospital when I first had the problem treated - 12 years ago.) Pretty much anything that's "behind the counter" can't be sold unless a pharmacist is present, even though they really don't do anything. Buddy of mine has blood thinners for his heart condition. Back in Canada - has to have a doctor's prescription to get them. In Thailand - he can get them at any pharmacy - no prescription needed - but only if the pharmacist is there.

This seems like a good explanation. It was late in the day when they refused compared to the previous day (happy to sell it) when it was lunch time.

Perhaps their response was a not very logical attempt to find an excuse. Here in Chiang Mai, my Thai adult son, his Thai wife and my adult Thai granddaughter have been at the large Fascino shop, when it was time to buy 'Are you a member?" 'NO' 'Do you want to sign up?' YES Five minutes later membership on our smartphone screens. Discount applied to current purchase.

I am aware that it isn't a mom and pop shop. That wasn't really the question. Another poster answered with what seems to be a plausible reason.
January 20, 20251 yr Fascino wants to sign people up so it can communicate with them. They asked me to sign up on a recent visit and offered a discount.

January 20, 20251 yr I stopped using it as I now prefer the generic Cialis (Tadalofil). How much was it? I can get it at a local store (near Walking Street, Soi 16, on Pratumnak Road) for 200 baht a pack, but most other stores charge 400. The Pharmacist always gets it from the back.
January 20, 20251 yr Are you sure she didn't ask if you have a member? If you answered "no", she figured she was doing you a favor... On a more serious note, maybe the popo is sending foreign volunteers to catch them out?

January 21, 20251 yr 6 hours ago, scubascuba3 said: Are they fakes or original generics? LOL< asking if they are fake. It's Tadalafil. I'm not going to advertise the brand here, but they work great and have done wonders for my prostate at 5mg per day. I'm pissing like a young guy once again. The protocol is 5mg per day and 10mg before action when duty calls. They are 20mg and I cut them into halves or quarters with a pill cutter. Sidegra (sildenafil) works well at 50mg or 100mg, but it's a shorter action, and I get terrible heartburn from it that can last a whole day, so I stopped using it. It's more suitable if you're going to grab a bargirl, but in a relationship, Tadalafil allows more spontaneity over a longer period.

MIRACID is a brand name for Omeprazole, which can be bought at almost any pharmacy, and much cheaper, Bht 20 for 10.

January 21, 20251 yr I'm not sure why people buy Apcalis 4x20mg for 200-500 baht instead of Lilly 28x20mg for 700 baht? both could be fake. The Indian Apcalis from India have a different box and name to the ones available here

All I can say is it works, and works well, and I get it from a pharmacy that has a reputation for selling quality products. Where can you buy it for 200 baht? I pay 400 or 1000 for 3 packets. I expect the export packaging will be different to the domestic Indian packaging, probably aimed at making it more attractive. I've never tried Lilly, but I'll probably not try it. I see a lot of their products have the "Cialis" brand name displayed on their packaging, a clear violation of the trademark. If you're really concerned about authenticity, then you can buy the real Cialis from any major pharmacy, but it's very expensive.
