Police Lieutenant Panasarn Khrongsit, Deputy Inspector of Pattaya City Police Station, received the report and quickly informed his superior, Police Colonel Navin Theerawit. Investigators from Pattaya Police and Tourist Police rushed to the scene. Officers found three Russian women in a state of distress, recounting how three young male suspects on a motorcycle rode up alongside them as they were walking back to their accommodation. The men snatched a handbag before speeding away. The stolen items included two mobile phones, 4,500 baht in cash, and important documents. The handbag belonged to Miss Tatiana Miakisheva, a 31-year-old Russian national. She provided police with a photograph of the stolen bag as evidence. Police Colonel Navin Theerawit immediately ordered officers to block possible escape routes and review CCTV footage from the area. The surveillance footage captured images of the suspects matching the victims’ descriptions. Popular Post bradiston Posted February 8 Popular Post Posted February 8 I'm always impressed when I see an update on a crime, stating the perpetrators have been nicked. I mean, 3 lads, aged between 16 and 18, at 10pm, are somehow tracked and traced. How do the old bill do it? They seem very good at finding the bad boys. My plea would be, catch the noisy buggers on their big bikes blasting up and down Pattaya's main roads. Confiscate their machines. I believe their are laws limiting noise emission. Otherwise, well done! 1 1 1 1
chondan Posted February 8 Posted February 8 My friend got his yaam (shoulder bag) snatched from him on Silom Road near Patpong in 1973. We were doing annual checkups. The next day we put 9 stool samples in a yaam and walked the same area. He held the yaam but not over his shoulder. Bingo! It got snatched. We went in the Madrid and changed our clothes. Then we went out to a Silom noodle shop to eat and watch the street. Lo and behold we saw the same motorcycle plus another mc with 3 riders going up and down Silom looking at farangs. They looked angry. We had to leave cause we were laughing so hard. The good ole days.

I still like the grenade in the bag, with pin tied to the wrist.

henryford1958 Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Good work by the Police. Imagine in the UK they wouldn't even bother to file a crime report.
