Because America's vital interests are involved in this case? Funny how your standards for US engagement in Europe vary depending  on the issue in question.

Huh? What ever are you trying to say, other than apparently trolling for an argument.

Seems clear enough. You advocate for America's disengagement from Europe. But when it comes to an issue that you feel strongly about, even though it has no bearing on the interests of the United States, you advocate for forceful intervention.

Where did I call for intervention LOL. English is not your first language evidently.

Funny how none of the arguments is 'she's not guilty '. It's about 'i don't care'.

Good point. Its not like they have a fair system of justice there.

You pushed for a 50% tariff on France because of the verdict in this case. How is punishing France for a judicial verdict not an intervention?

The loopholes are clearly explained in the articles I quoted and linked to, so do you have reading issues?

Under certain circumstances, loosers have forgotten how to read.

Do you think everyone must have English as their first language? There are more non-English speakers in the world than English speakers. Whereby more not "first english" speaking people speak English, unlike Americans, for example, speak a second language.

I am fluent in French, want to try?

Why, to confirm your politics? Why would I want to speak that? Better off learning Hebrew.

Punish? Naw, the better word would be deter enemies,  they are ripping us off with their  tarriffs so here is more back, with some added because  they are a bunch of dictatorial Putin wannabes. We need them for nothing.

So France is an enemy because it's judiciary found Lepin guilty? Or it was an enemy before but now it's even more of an enemy because of the Lepin verdict?  And you claim that enemies are deterred by this action but it's not a punishment?

"Punishment, commonly, is the imposition of an undesirable or unpleasant outcome upon an individual or group, meted out by an authority[1][2][3][4][5]—in contexts ranging from child discipline to criminal law—as a deterrent to a particular action or behavior that is deemed undesirable.[6]"

It's laughable that you questioned my command of English.

I think its time to 50% tariff all products from France.

Japan, Korea and China are working on a free trade agreement, let's extend that to the EU.
