why are you asking about pattaya? are you secretly pretending to live there while simultaneously bashing it on the forum and acting holier than thou for not living there? or are you secretly

  • Sai Kaew Beach is south of Pattaya.  100 baht for foreigners. Food, shade and clear water.

Unlikely, too far for most people to walk to Nang Rong beach the other end, better to get a Motorbike from Pattaya

Depends on your definition for good beach. But if you just want fairly nice and not far away, just go to Ko Larn on a weekday when it's not crowded. Rent a bike to find out which beach you like most. Personally prefer Nual as that seems to have most undersea life to observe with mask and snorkel

Just a day trip with a slow boat is good for a lazy day. Stay overnight if you like

I've never seen a train anywhere near it

Not a particularly frequent service notwithstanding the distance away.

Yep, I've never seen a train on that line and I've cycled 100+ times. Anyway a 30 minute walk to Nang Rong Beach, ok for me but too much for many incl Thai girls

Cozy beach near Pratumnak.

Old farts may have a hard time getting back up ghe hill to the road, but it's my favorite beach there. Not too crowded, some reasonable food & booze. What more could you want.
