Popular Post Social Media Posted April 16 Popular Post Posted April 16 Unmasking the Hydra: Why the White House Must Double Down on DEI in Education As the White House intensifies its campaign against Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in American institutions, it must recognize the evolving nature of the challenge. DEI, a movement that once wore its identity openly, is now adapting and hiding behind euphemisms and bureaucratic reshuffling. If this ideological agenda is to be dismantled, the effort must not only continue—it must become even more forceful. The case of Caltech illustrates just how deeply embedded DEI has become and how adept its proponents are at cloaking their intentions. Lindsey Malcom-Piqueux, the university’s former Chief Diversity Officer, has been given a new title and a convenient promotion. But critics argue that this move is little more than camouflage—designed to preserve the same divisive DEI framework under a different label. “That’s what DEI is, remember. A system of race- and gender-based patronage (or, if you happen to be male, white, Asian or Jewish, discrimination) contrary to everything good and just and right in America,” one commentator warned, characterizing the practice as fundamentally unjust and antithetical to the principles of meritocracy. And Caltech is hardly alone. At Columbia University, former interim president Katrina Armstrong was caught on tape admitting that the school’s supposed compliance with Trump-era DEI restrictions was a charade. “Everything was going to be business as usual,” she said. The revelation came about because, astonishingly, Armstrong and her colleagues failed to disable Zoom’s recording function during their internal discussions. “If that’s not a testament to why DEI hiring policies in the academy are bad, we don’t know what is,” critics quipped, highlighting what they see as incompetence enabled by ideologically driven hiring practices. The trend extends beyond academia. Major corporations like Edward Jones and Costco are allegedly engaging in similar efforts to conceal race- and gender-based programs. Costco, in particular, is facing scrutiny from multiple state attorneys general, with investigations underway into whether its practices may violate anti-discrimination laws. Yet while some organizations are masking their intentions, others are refusing to comply altogether. New York’s State Education Department, for instance, announced it would not enforce the Trump administration’s order on DEI policies in public schools. This blatant defiance underscores the need for a stronger federal response. To critics of DEI, the movement is not just misguided policy—it is a resilient and dangerous ideology. “Otherwise the hydra will just regrow its heads,” they warn. This metaphor reflects the belief that unless every manifestation of DEI is exposed and dismantled, it will persist in new forms, spreading further into education, government, and private enterprise. Supporters of the White House’s position argue that this is a moral imperative as much as a legal one. They believe the only way to restore fairness and protect the values of equality under the law is to confront DEI wherever it appears—especially when it hides behind clever titles and vague language. Without such vigilance, they claim, the system will continue to operate in shadow, undermining institutions and eroding public trust. For those who see DEI as a threat to meritocracy and individual rights, this is no time for compromise. It is a time to strike harder, more decisively, and with full awareness that the enemy is no longer in plain sight. Based on a report by NYP 2025-04-16 1 1 2 6

Popular Post Emdog Posted April 16 Popular Post Posted April 16 "A system of race- and gender-based patronage.." well, since the founding of US (and theft from the natives) the land comprising USA was "A system of race- and gender-based patronage oppression" Millions of Africans kidnapped and enslaved, along with all their children. How many white European slaves were there? How many women had the right to vote? US did not lead the way in that category, along with day to day rights like opening bank accounts, attending (Some native cultures women DID have a vote), higher education (The Harvard Graduate School of Education was the first to admit women, in 1920. The Harvard Medical School followed in 1945. Harvard Law School didn't open its doors to women until 1950.) Chinese exclusion laws (after having them build our railroads). Could go on and on.... yes, whatever is done now will not redress the devastation of the past, and some may yelp about the playing field now being tilted a bit the other way now. But nothing compared to most US history. If you think things are fine and fair now, honestly answer the question: Which race would you prefer to be born into? Until people can honestly say "it does not matter", we have more work to do 3 3 1 1

DEI is NOT "antithetical to the principles of meritocracy," a system in which people advance based on their merits or abilities. It IS antithetical to the principles of aristocracy, a system in which people advance based on their status or social position (like White males). 7 hours ago, Social Media said: To critics of DEI, the movement is not just misguided policy—it is a resilient and dangerous ideology. “Otherwise the hydra will just regrow its heads,” they warn. Just the opposite is true. If DEI does not continue and prevail, the hydra of White male supremacy will rise again (not that it ever was beheaded entirely). 2
Luuk Chaai Posted April 16 Posted April 16 DEI aka idiot a-holzzzzzz The phrase "nobody owes you" signifies that individuals are responsible for their own well-being and success, and they shouldn't expect others to provide for them or solve their problems. It implies that while people may choose to help, it's not their obligation to do so. This mindset encourages self-reliance and taking ownership of one's life. 1

White male supremacy made the United States and now millions of non-whites are literally breaking in to the country because it's so much better than the dump they came from. What does that tell you? Remember when Muhammad Ali said "Thank God my granddaddy got on that boat" upon realizing the horrors of the dark continent? Apparently the legacy of slavery and white supremacy is preferable to living in a society created by blacks. So what happens when undermine white people in America? Are you sure it's going to work out for your non-white friends? 1 1 1

Remember when Muhammad Ali said "Thank God my granddaddy got on that boat" upon realizing the horrors of the dark continent? Apparently the legacy of slavery and white supremacy is preferable to living in a society created by blacks. WDSmart: Like I wrote above, Ali believed the USA was better than where his grandfather came from, but that doesn't mean it was not discriminatory. So what happens when undermine white people in America? Are you sure it's going to work out for your non-white friends? WDSmart: DEI doesn't have to "undermine white [sic] people in America [sic]." I am a White male and US citizen, and DEI doesn't undermine me. In fact, it boisters my hope that someday the USA will achieve true "Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion," in spite of its White supremicist, racist past. I hope all of my fellow White males will eventually be able to see that. My remarks are embedded in the copy of the comment above... 1 1

Oh please! Your comparison just shows you yourself are a staunch Democrat. Nothing being done resembles what Hitler did. You are just name calling only which really shows your low level IQ and your willingness to copy Democratic jargon which by the way, is part of the reason the Democrats lost the elections. DEI is a disease (plain and simple) It has eaten away at fairness and caused injuries as well as costing billions. It threatens school age children ability to grow normally as well as stealing their feeling of safety just to use the toilet. Even the normal LBGT people are quoted saying their name is being used by others when they added the +++ and began their political campaign to force people to accept changes to how the world perceives them and accept their mental challenges. The DEI was abused by the Dem politicians in hopes to gain votes. Look at the problems it is currently creating in Europe. In the meantime, find another rhetoric. The Hitler name calling fails miserably.

Sir Dude Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Looks like the UK High Court has finally positively manned-up and decided what a woman is... maybe can rule on what a "man" is too, haha. It's pathetic that it have come to this... just as things were getting better for women in general, and then along comes this complete ludicrous and offensive BS from deluded, aggressive, and psyco dudes that think they are somehow femail... how society has fallen when they accept such made-up BS from nutjobs. 1
rough diamond Posted April 16 Posted April 16 33 minutes ago, Tug said: We’re have I EVER expressed hate for America bucko? Too many MAGAmaniacs cannot separate distaste/hate of Trump with hate of the USA. I am strongly against what Trump is doing to the world order and initially it made no difference to my longstanding love of the USA. Unfortunately that is dissipating at an alarming late not just from me but from many countries and their populations around the world. 1

Why should America be non-discriminatory? Americans have basically been invaded by immigrants who can't compete up to their standards and now the schools are bending the standards to accommodate them. This is an all out war on nature at this point and America will fail badly. You can bend the rules all you want and give special privilege to certain races but all that will happen in the end is they will drive the averages of everyone down. 1 1 2
